Perfect location

The host was excellent with communication and the house was very clean. Check in and check out was simple and easy. The location is PERFECT. It’s right down the road from Downtown Saugatuck, a five minute drive from the Sand Dunes State Park, and just a couple minutes away from the Sand Dune Rides. We had a blast during our time in Saugatuck!

House was just as pictured. Would stay again

The home was just as described. Very clean and welcoming. All five bedrooms are super spacious with plenty of room to spread out. All beds were firm and comfortable. Hot water was hot on demand. Only thing I might add is a high chair and a pack and play for tiny guests. And a pizza pan. 😀 Location is private and convenient to all of Saugatuck.

Refurbished farmhouse

Large house. Nothing fancy, but room for all of us. Owner is responsive, and promised to fix the kitchen faucet that was loose and hard to turn off. Stove is slow and barely works. Overall, in good condition. Fairly close to Saugatuck, and will be closer to Holland when bridge over the interstate is replaced and open.

Quiet and cozy

The house has been mostly redone inside but the listing does say dishwasher— we never found a dishwasher. The electric stove is also very old and not easy to navigate. The space was nice and the beds were awesome. One bedroom on the first floor and the other 4 upstairs. The driveway is a pull through so that was nice for loading and unloading cars.

Summer Vacation Rental

We rented this home for one week with our family (8 adults, 2 kids (ages 7 and 4) and two dogs. This is a great old farm house that has been remodeled on the inside. The outside is still old farm house but the inside is clean with comfortable, new beds and updated decor. We had a relaxing time. It is very close to our favorite restaurant Penny Royal and right next to a golf course. The house is perfect size for a large group or family. The kitchen was equipped with dishes,‘and and utensils for cooking. The stove is older but worked just fine. There is also a charcoal BBQ available. The location made for a short bike/car ride to Douglas or Saugatuck. The owners were quick to respond to our questions. Everyone in my family, from age 4 thru 88, had a great time.

Rough around edges

Drove up to the property and the outside needs work. Moldy siding and needs major landscape update with at least bushes trimmed. In the inside - a little rough around the edges but very clean. Looks like they use a good housekeeping service. Very delayed response from owner/mgt company on 2 issues. Maybe he thought not emergent and could wait but it seemed not interested. Internet didn’t work the last two days even when reported

Great for a fall color getaway

Great house with lots of space in a lovely woods setting. It's in a neighborhood but surrounded by enough trees to feel more isolated (even with the highway).

Perfect set up for our girls weekend!

This property was perfect for our girls weekend. Plenty of room for us and lots of parking. The place was extremely clean. The location was perfect too! We loved it!

Clean property with plenty of space

This was our first VRBO experience and it was a great one. Beautiful nature setting. Close to shopping and the beach while still away for privacy. The house was clean. The stove is ancient and we were afraid to use it. However, there were plenty of restaurants in town to try. There were a couple of tripping hazards (loose boards and uneven flooring) that were concerning for my elderly parents. Overall nice, clean place with plenty of room.

Great place to visit!

Really loved our short stay in this beautiful open floor layout. Florida room was perfect to keep the pugs in, and very nice area for bonfires. The home is at the end of a dead end road, so nice and quiet.

This property was exactly as listed Very clean, comfortable beds and furniture . Roomy enough for all nine of us Close to the downtown but quiet in the evenings We would rent any property by AMK ! It was great!

Convenient Getaway Spot

Easy to find yet tucked-away location offered plenty of room for visiting, playing and dining together. Short drive to Saugatuck and Douglas downtown areas and local breweries.

Perfect Girls Getaway

This property was just perfect for our girls getaway! The home is well priced, remodeled nicely in the farmhouse style with plenty of bedrooms (5, which is hard to find!) and plenty of relaxing and gathering space. The property owner was very good with communication and very responsive to a minor issue we brought to his attention. We would be happy to stay here again!
