Enjoyed this place. 6 of us stayed for a bowling weekend. Enjoyed it, relaxing and playing cards. While an older house, it is well maintained and host had stocked with everyhing we needed. Was well worth the price.
Cute house, clean and comfortable. Lots of room inside. Great communication with the host. Nice location, close to the ship museum and Soo Locks Tours. Some breakfast items were provided - much appreciated. Would stay here again.
We attended a hockey reunion to celebrate the 2994 National Championship. The house was perfect for our needs. The host provided basics which was much appreciated…coffee, eggs etc
Our stay at this house was wonderful. Very clean and space was plentiful. Kitchen contained pretty much anything you would need. The host even provided bagels and coffee for use. Highly recommended staying here!
We were traveling together for a family wedding. The home was cozy and comfortable and filled with little extra amenities – breakfast foods stocked in the kitchen. The owner checked in several times to see if everything was to our satisfaction. It felt like our home away from home. You have a beautiful home!

Great location, accommodations and more
Host was very attentive. Never had to wait for a reply. The place had great amenities and the location couldn't have been better. Very clean. Perfect place for a family get together.
The house was very large and comfortable for our party of 6. The property manager, Barbara, was wonderful! Perfect spot - close enough to walk to the lock, but far enough to be out of the crowd.
Beautiful, well-maintained home! Very clean with lots of extra blankets and towels. Lots of room to park, and the fire-pit was nice for everyone to be able to hang out and relax after a long day. The owner was very friendly and helped to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Definitely would highly recommend to anyone looking for a large place for friends and family to be able to bunk together for a few days or more!
We had a wonderful time. The house was nice and very clean! The kitchen was fully stocked. There was plenty of linens, blankets, and pillows for everyone. The beds were comfortable. The shower in the master bath was amazing. The host was very helpful and was easy to communicate with. The location of the house was perfect, it was close to all the attractions we went to.
The house was exactly as described. Perfect location to the Soo Locks and downtown Sault St Marie. Easy access to freeway for sight seeing at Oswald Bear Ranch Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. Would book here again next time we are in the Upper Peninsula
We chose this location because of a nearby training conference.
We enjoyed the ability to walk wherever we went and the relaxing and comforting house.
The house was great. I loved the décor and the comfort of the rooms. It was more cost effective to stay here than a hotel for our group and it allowed us a lot of time to meet in the common areas. Would highly recommend it.
The property was exactly as pictured. It is beautiful with comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and well-stocked kitchen. Barbara was wonderful with communication and unexpected breakfast supplies. We loved our stay!
The only 2 things to mention are that there is no bathroom door in the master suite and we were unsure of the neighborhood at first but it was quiet and walkable to downtown.
Well worth it to stay here and visit the Soo Locks.
This 1880 vintage home was very welcoming. The bathrooms have been updated and the whole house was very clean. We had four cars and no problems parking. This old house has the old home charm. There were three couple and a single adult. There was plenty of room for our whole party. Great stay
This home was perfection! The home is beautiful and prepared for an amazing stay. Anything you needed was there! Kitchen was like being at home. The teas, coffee, and farm fresh eggs were such a great touch. So many towels. Extra blankets. If you thought you might need something, it was probably there. The beds were so comfortable. We were there for LSSU graduation and had four generations staying together. There was plenty of room to all be together and have our own space. It has been discussed by everyone that when we are lucky enough to return to the Soo, we will be staying here again!

Exceeded all expectations!
This home was amazing! Besides being absolutely beautiful, literally everything that you might need while away from home was there. We were there for LSSU graduation and had four generations, from two to 72 years old. It was the perfect space for all of us to do things together and have our own space. Communication with the host was flawless. The beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. Kitchen had all the plates, glasses, pots, and pans of your kitchen at home. The extras like teas, coffee, and local farm fresh eggs just added an extra touch. We all agreed that if we were ever lucky enough to come back to the Soo, we will stay here again.
My friends and I rented this location to attend a local convention. Very clean and spacious. We loved the historical details in the house like the stained glass windows! We were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of breakfast foods in the fridge. The owner promptly responded to any questions. Probably the only downside was lack of air conditioning upstairs. We had a couple of days where the temps were in the 80s and the upstairs bedrooms were quite warm and it was a bit difficult to sleep.
Otherwise, we loved the house and are already booked for the same convention next year.
