“Breakfast”

“We stayed here for one night, the property is nice and it is close to Helen, GA. That being said there was no staff on site during our one night stay, and there was a live scorpion in our room - which we dealt with ourselves because there was no staff and we knew calling someone would take too long. This is a small business, so I recognize and appreciate that they cannot have staff on full-time.”

“A little dated, but overall the room was clean and comfy. Great views. Bob was very helpful and has lots of local knowledge.”

“I had stayed here before and knew it was a bare bones place to stay. This time our room smelled of cigarette smell. There was a hole in the ceiling in the bathroom. The bed was okay but there were stains on the carpet.”

“Very comfortable. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was great having lovely restaurant and lounge right there. Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Highly recommend a stay here.”

“We were very impressed with the accommodations. The furniture, decor, kitchen was well equipped for a weekend getaway. The suite was perfect for 2 people and our teen slept on the couch, but ended up in the massive king bed alongside us the second night. The Lodge is a cool area for recreating and the bar (opening soon) was a hip little addition—LOVE the ceiling. We enjoyed eating on the back patio in the evening and we even had a visit from a black bear while sitting just outside the back……

“This is our second stay here. The first wasn’t horrible but it was inexpensive so I couldn’t complain. My second visit was different. I booked a room that stated there was 1 king bed and slept 3. Sounded perfect for 3 of us. That detail is incorrect. The lady at the desk looked at me like I had three heads. I asked for a rollaway. Again, I got the strangest look as she said she’d see if they had one. They did, but everyone involved acted really weird. Well, the mattress was a joke and we might……

“Very friendly and helpful staff. (Cindy) Accommodated our last minute booking. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Quiet even though located right off the highway. Shower curtain & towels/rags very worn out and in need of replacing. Dog hair everywhere but again we booked last minute so kinda understand there may not have been time for a better cleaning. Very convenient to Helen if you’re visiting the area!”
