Lovely stay in Savannah

This beautiful cottage was the perfect getaway for our little family of 4. We walked to Forsyth park every day so the kids could enjoy the playground. The cottage was cozy, comfortable and charming. We only made it to the pool on Tybee one day of our trip but found it to be a beautiful spot! Would definitely love to stay again!

My daughter and I stayed here for Spring Break—a beautiful place, very centrally located. If you are there on a Saturday, you must walk to Forsyth Park for the Farmer's Market and have coffee across the street.

My daughter and I came and had a wonderful time. The house was so lovely. Location was excellent and we enjoyed time both on the front and back porches. Very clean and accomodating. Host was very communicative and I felt they were there if needed. I would rent there again!

Perfect cottage and location!

The Waldburg cottage was so cute and in the perfect location! Updates to the cottage were made but still kept the character of the home! Within 5 minutes of the famous Savannah Squares, River, and many restaurants! Would definitely stay here again!

The property is even better than what the pictures depict. The home was very clean and had necessities for our stay. Loved hanging out in the rear yard and front porch. Convenient to everything. . Would stay here again.

Quaint little cottage

We loved our stay! Best for small families or a couple. Kids should be old enough to manage bunk beds and breakables. Cottage is in a beautiful area and walkable to downtown. Loved the covered porch and yard in the back. Lovely historical home. Highly recommend!

In Love!!

We absolutely loved this place!! After the first day we already said we wanted to come back every year for our anniversary. It was nice that it was close to the riverwalk and the historic district and only 30 minutes from Tybee Island. Definitely recommend it for anyone.

We ended up having to move to a different property that Southern Belle manages due to bringing our dogs at the last minute. Southern Belle was amazing about making the change and getting everything figured out. The property was perfectly stocked and clean and wonderful.

In town for a wedding

Cute little cottage very close to downtown. Only 20 minutes from the Savannah airport. We didn't cook while we were there but saw all the equipment you would need. Bed is super comfortable. Lots of towels provided. Property owner is very communicative (no less than 5 emails confirming our stay!). Would book again.

Great Little House

Would definitely stay here again. Cute house, clean, great location. I’m tall and the furniture is fairly petite. The 2nd bedroom is also set up for kids, not necessarily adults. I understood that going in so it wasn’t an issue nor did it affect my enjoyment of the stay. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed staying here (great value).

This cottage had parking! That was a huge plus for us. It was on a quiet road. Still close to down town. Ubers were cheap as it wasn’t too far. We didn’t use any of the dishes but there were dishes and cooking items for all those needs.

Friends get away

Property was clean and looked like pictures. Nice location walked to park, old city sites, and close to free local bus stop. Back porch was nice for morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine. Top bunk not made for an adult but fine for a child. It is an old house so some floor creaks and front steps slightly sloped.

Nice Stay

This little house was big enough for two people. The location was nice near Forsyth Park. Would have liked better pillows and a tv that worked. I was told the tv was just streaming and we could get into Tubi or Pluto. Unfortunately we could not get into either. The one misfortunate problem was the big bug in the hallway which looked like a cockroach. Other than that it was a nice.

Savannah Girls' Trip

My friend and I had a lovely stay at this property for a girls' weekend away. Overall, the property and location were wonderful. The home is slightly worse for wear and could use some improvements (broken furniture in the kitchen, cosmetic damage like separating caulk, pretty minor stuff). I stayed in the bunk room and noticed quite a bit of dust on the baseboards and some questionable gunk on the walls of my room and the bathroom. The front porch was extremely dusty/dirty and could use a good cleaning (don't sit on the rocking chairs in white pants). Aside from these minor issues with the home, the location is PERFECT and we were able to walk everywhere. If you're looking for a quaint cottage in a great location, I would definitely recommend this home.

Love this little house! Our 2nd Stay!

We love this little house! Perfect location for us to walk to Forsyth Park. It’s definitely driving distance to the river if you’re not able to walk forever, but the park is walkable. My son absolutely loved the bunk beds. The only minor negative that I have is that I found the master bed to be a little uncomfortable. I would wake up every morning with a sore back. I’m not docking my rating for that though, because it’s a great stay otherwise. I appreciate the washer and dryer, as well. We will definitely be back!

Cozy Cottage Perfection!

Wonderful Waldburg Cottage will not disappoint, JUST BOOK IT! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little cottage. We loved that it was centrally located, just two blocks away from Forsyth Park. We could walk just about anywhere within 5-15 minutes- all the amazing coffee shops, restaurants, boutiques, parks and close to DOT when your day legs are done with walking. I also recommend the "Downtowner" app works like Uber but FREE (tips are accepted) in the Historic District of Savannah only from 5pm to 5am 7 days a week. Wonderful drivers, new electric vehicles and all provided by the the City of Savannah. The house was on a quiet street and we liked that we had our own private parking behind the house, not to mention the lovely back yard and the covered porch which we enjoyed every evening. It was a perfect get away for our girls trip. Nicely decorated, very clean, comfy beds, and everything we needed. We will be back!

In general place was clean and cute. Brass wall sconces in bedroom are loose and when we mentioned to manager lights were flickering, the reply we received was “we do not normally get complaints about this issue.” Did not feel this was a proper response. The tiny bathroom needs a shelf to hold personal items as the window sill and toilet tank are not sufficient.

Tiny cottage for two w/great outdoor spaces

Older, historic cottage that was moved from its original location. Just big enough for two people to fit comfortably. The outside makes the property worthwhile more than anything though. The adorable front porch with rocking chairs and even more so the large private yard and deck out back were used daily to relax in the nice weather. Be cautious of the floor vent in the hall. My husband and I both tripped on it and I was the lucky one to actually cut my foot open our last night here. The property mangement company is responsive and extremely helpful too though. Worth a short stay, near free public transportation to downtown and walking distance from many bars and restaurants.

Did the job but needs some TLC

The house was cute, but small and really sized for 2 people. The inside of the property was very clean, but the outside was in needed of some love. The back yard's grass was a mess, the chaise lounge chairs were filthy and both the front and back porches were dirty. Inside I realize that they were trying to go with period furnishings, but the kitchen table was so small that only 2 people could fit; however, we ended up with only 1 chair because the second chair was broken. The living room furniture was small and uncomfortable, and the WIFI did not work our entire stay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and was a short 2 block walk to Forsyth Park. The private parking spot in back alley was convenient too. All-in-all, we did enjoy the Cottage, but some updates need to be made.
