“Our room was too exposed to an exterior walkway. There was NO way to get natural light in the unit without allowing passersbys a view into the room. Room was a dark dungeon ”

“Our stay at Godley Manor was perfect!! The room was comfortable, the location was wonderful, and the staff were helpful and kind. It was such a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful house. It was a little warm outside to enjoy the fireplace, but relaxing on the rockers on the porch was a lovely way to unwind after exploring Savannah.”

“The person at the front desk was alone and could have used some help, resulting in a very delayed check-in. That was after my husband waited about 20 minutes to pull into the valet area. The valet could have used some help. Had hoped for housekeeping on day 2 of four. Housekeeping was a no show so we got the front desk to bring us towels and we put the do not disturb sign onto the door.”

“The inn is located in a quiet neighborhood of Savannah. We booked the 2 bedrooms suite. Both bedroom were quite small. The larger room fits a king bed, two nightstands, and two small armchairs, leaving little space for luggage, which had to be placed in the walkway. The second room is even more cramped, with just enough space for a queen bed and two very small nightstands (about the size of an iPad). The bathroom is also very old and small. As this is an older house, the air felt stale, and……

“The hotel is extremely aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t look at many photos before booking so I was very surprised. The person that completed the interior design should receive an award. The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and the hotel is in a perfect location nearby countless restaurants and bars. This was my first trip to Savannah and I’ll definitely stay at this property when I visit again. Thank you for your hospitality. ”

“The corner room is noisy at night- there were many people gathering near the hotels till 1 or 2 am and you could hear them. There was an Irish bar across from the hotels which you would hear the music playing at night. There was coffee stain in the carpet of the room I stayed. The hotel has good hospitality and the bed was comfortable. ”

“My partner and I spent four very comfortable nights at the Drayton in March. Everything about the Drayton is marvelous. Welcoming and helpful staff, comfortable, clean facility, unusual and charming lobby, excellent food and bar, splendid rooftop lounge. On top of all this, the location could not have been better. ”

“Great location on Chippewa Square. Walking distance to resturants and cafés. Parking is a pain because of ghost tours, church services, etc. If you're lucky, you can pay for street parking but if not there are lots in walking distance you can pay for via a QR code. You can extend online before it expires. It's expensive. A two day stay could be hundreds if you don't land a street spot. Security wise there are codes on entry and exit doors but be sure to hit the lock button when leaving or……
