Centred on a pretty square, Sayulita’s village is a lively commercial and entertainment district. Wander down palm-shaded streets lined with galleries, shops and vendors. Browse for artisanal jewellery, one-of-a-kind artwork and surfing apparel. Dining options are plentiful, ranging from ceviche restaurants to pavement cafés to taco stands. Party until the early hours at bars and live music venues.
Sayulita is about a 30-minute drive north from Punta Mita and about an hour’s drive from Puerto Vallarta. Public buses travel between the village and Puerto Vallarta.
