Great location, fab pool and jacuzzi, sadly steam room not open. Wonderful games room. Quality breakfast and to end the stay the best afternoon tea 'sunday roast style'. Will definitely return.
Really nice hotel. The staff member i met was helpful. I had a small single room which had everything i needed for my short stay. It was clean and looked well maintained. I didn't have any meals there but the dining rooms looked clean and well decorated. I would stay again.
First impression on arrival was very good, looked well maintained and clean.
Inside was the same, staff were very friendly and helpful really good experience I would stay there again.
I had a wonderful time, easy access, within walking distance to attractions and public transport, breakfast was good staff very helpful and friendly

Great location, nice food.
Great location, nice food.
Restaurant closes too early (7.30 pm last orders)
Bath shower needs adjustments and shelves as well.
Nice staff, however too in a rush for the last guests to leave the restaurant!
Exceptionally clean, bright and well-cared for premises. All staff encountered were friendly and efficient. Room, although small was well equipped and, ideal for me, as a single traveler, and at a very reasonable price.
I liked the hotel overall, parking wasn’t easy very small car park. The pool was shallow not brilliant for swimming. Food in the evening wasn’t the best, I had duck in a sauce which was very watery not what I expected. Breakfast was great and a nice bar to sit in . Would definitely recommend
Penthouse suite was expensive (£275 for one night), but we wanted to treat ourselves after a really bad year. The suite was exceptional. Wife went for a swim in the hotel pool. A short distance from the Quo concert in the Open Air Arena. Really good nights sleep. Very helpful staff. Above average full English breakfast
I only stayed overnight, room was compact but big enough for one person. The room was clean. In the room I had there was a constant humming noise, could have been because of the position of the room.
Breakfast was average
Shower could do with more power
Would I stay again, yes probably although I'd like a different room and probably wouldn't have breakfast.

A decent stay at a weekend during the winter period of low occupancy that was generally pleasant. The main areas of the hotel were modern clean and well kept. The room was small with the single bed (as I paid for) in an alcove (so access from one side) but comfortable and clean; the bathroom was modern and clean. The bedroom floor - while clean - squeaked a lot....as did the others in the hotel seemingly which was disconcerting and annoying when the same heard from other rooms.
The 'health club' (pool, hot tub and steam room) were clean generally (including the changing rooms), warm. The steam room showed the beginnings of a 'biofilm' growing on the walls and floors; I found a false eyelash on the floor - but that was the only thing.
The area - North Bay - isn't the most touristy in February - or in peak season in the same way as South Bay/ center proper is - but the hotel was easy to access by road to use a base for exploring by car or on foot.
To start with, the only thing that we liked about the hotel is the location. It is a short walk to the beach and other tourist spots. The rest was a disappointment. Let me start when we check in, the staff at the reception wasn’t please at all to see us. The male staff just stared at us as if we haven’t made a reservation, the lady was the one who explained to us the check in process but it wasn’t welcoming either. Second was the sink and bathtub which become flooded just a few seconds of opening the tap/shower (it wasn’t draining well. Third was the bedsheet - I couldn’t sleep on our first night as the sheets make my skin itchy, you can tell that it wasn’t fresh! (Could be from the previous guest) which was disgusting! I asked the housekeeper the next day if they could change it but was rude, raising her voice and asking what’s wrong with it (even if I already told her colleague the issue). Fourth was the breakfast- it was the worst breakfast ever in all the years of my travelling. Foods where not fresh, very salty, drinking glasses dirty etc. Overall I am not going back and not recommending at all.

The hotel looks impressive from the outside and is the only one of the hotels I stayed during my 1 week vacation that has an elevator, helpful when you have heavy bags. The staff are very friendly and it has nice dining facilities. The hotel is tired looking and in need of updating. I had no trouble parking in their small private parking lot, but it was a Sunday night, so perhaps not as full as it might have been on other nights, given their disclosure about there being limited space and parking on a first come first served basis.
I do have a complaint about the room (basic single), which was awful and didn’t feel particularly clean. I knew a single with a twin bed wasn’t going to be large, but this room was the tiniest room I’ve ever stayed in and very claustrophobic. The head of the bed touched one wall and the foot of the bed the other, with the door opening right onto the foot of the bed and you had to squeeze into the room. The photo on Expedia of a basic single shows a bed with a wider headboard and two pillows side by side, making it look wider than it really is. The room overlooked an enclosed flat roof with what looked like furnace vents, at the back of the hotel.
The instructions for turning on the shower were complicated (turn this and then press that, etc.) and then said to let the water run for 7 minutes to allow it to get to temperature! Wasting this much precious water really bothered me.
I won't stay here again.
