Charming 3-bedroom house in lovely downtown Madison.

"Nice home in a great location. Our host was easy to work with and very graciously gave my sister-in-law a picture he had in the kitchen that she loved. So kind of him and went above and beyond. Updated kitchen and beautiful wood floors throughout. The three bedrooms are huge, large enough that oversized chairs for a seating area could be added and there would still be plenty of space. We visit Madison several times a year but this is our first stay in Joey’s (Mabel’s Place) but I’m sure it won’t be the last."

"I have 4 sisters and we take a sisters trip each year. It’s hard to find a property that meets our needs. This property was wonderful! The bed and bath ratio was good for us. The location was exactly as stated on VRBO. The house was clean and located within walking distance to town and to the river. Our host was very fast if we had any questions and was very good about communication. All in all it was a great trip and the house helped make it that way."

"Extremely well-updated home. Comfortable beds and furniture. Clean and cozy. Thoughtful seasonal decorations. Enjoyed the area-specific wall art. Kitchen is spacious, very user friendly with thoughtful snacks, creamer, K-cups supplied. Had everything we needed. Front porch and back patio were pleasant places to sit. Easy walking distance to the river and the east part of downtown. We would definitely stay here again. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly when we needed a football retrieved from the porch roof."
