“The office manager was friendly and helpful. The room we had was on the back side with a beautiful view of the country side and very quiet. Out of all the motels I have slept in this one was the most restful one. It was clean and well kept. Air conditioning/heat were not overly noisy. We went to a place called Chicken Cook at the Exon station about a quarter of a mile or so up the road. Best fried chicken and sides, move over KFC! I would definitely stay at this motel again. Top rate!”

“The bar is superb, and staffed by an exceptionally attentive staff. The level of hospitality offered here is truly exceptional. The hotel is built around a central atrium. It is quite calm and soothing to spend any amount of time in there. Throw in glass elevators that overlook the atrium, and a number of rooms with an interior view, and you've got an extraordinary experience waiting for you. ”

The lady at front desk was not happy and passed that room to another check in guest. Moment after, that guest met the same issue. Few hours after my check in, my credit card was charged again. So I went down to check with the front desk. The lady at front desk is very rude and she said that is the system trasaction and she can do nothing. And nobody I can talk to. I have to……

“I would’ve given this hotel five stars, had I been charged their normal rack rates. It’s brand new, beautiful, and has an extremely friendly and professional staff. Unfortunately, at nearly $1000 per night on graduation weekend, it raises the expectations and the hotel does not meet that price category of property. It’s a clearly cashing in on a captive audience but seems to be a common theme in the area. That said, as long as you avoid the gauging times, this is an excellent hotel near UVA.”
