「Easy check in at the bar, our room was small but fine for us, the only thing lacking is a mini fridge. The hosts and locals are great, friendly and down to earth people. 「A lovely peaceful location - very convenient for Harrogate and York. The property was clean with up to date decor - nice view from the sitting room window. The breakfast of cereal/croissants was a nice touch. We also found a lovely pub about 10 minutes drive away with amazing food - there were several to choose from. The owner was friendly and helpful. Suitable for a couple or a small family - there is one bedroom with a double bed, and the other with twin beds.」

「Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.」

"Great location! Around 5 mins walk from the rail station. The room is premium and large. Well equipped with everything you need (except I didn't see a fridge though). The breakfast is nice exceythe black pudding is a bit dry. Two things I was not that satisfied. 1) there's some kind of smell like humidity. But ofc I got used to it in 5 mins... 2) I sometimes heard leaking (should be water going from the tubes but sounds like leaking). However all the rests are above my expectations so I still rate 5 star."
