The best Sea Ranch vacation home yet

This is our third time in Sea Ranch and believe this is our favorite property yet. It was amazing to be able to hike to the beaches and tide pools and Ohlson Rec Center. The location and home can’t be beat!

perfect weekend

This was our first time in Sea Ranch and it did not dissapoint. The house was perfect for our group of friends -- spacious common areas, stunning views, well equipped kitchen. And the perks of using the rec centers was wonderful. Will definitely be coming back.

Stunning Spring Weekend in Sea Ranch

Gorgeous home, connected to the main walking path along the coastline. The property had everything you could possibly need; kitchen was equipped with necessities, hot tub was fantastic (positioned outside perfect for watching the stars) and large enough to fit our entire group. We sat outside on the patio every evening with wine and watched numerous whales come by - none breached the surface but we saw countless whale spouts and fins. Comfortable beds and more than enough space to fit all three of the couples that came for the weekend. Would highly recommend this property!

Nice place to connect with family and nature.

The house was divided up nicely. We enjoyed time together, beach play, the hot tub and nature walks. The kitchen was a little dated. But we were able to make it work! There were definitely not enough towels for our group...only one per person. So bring extra towels for the hot tub if you plan on using it. We had fun. Thank you!

The house was a perfect size for our family. We loved the location and the jacuzzi was a plus. We however found the kitchen very difficult for more than one person to work in at a time. We were extremely disappointed in the fact that 5 out of 10 shades in the front windows with beautiful views were closed and broken!!! I would not stay here again unless the shades were working properly. The main reason we came to Sea Ranch was to see the ocean! Also the bbq was mostly not usable.

Magical Experience at Sea Ranch!

My family stayed for Christmas, and everything was absolutely perfect. We had five adults. The house was extremely clean. It's very modern, with heated bathroom floors and digital heat/ cooling. The fireplace is fun but not the only source of heat, so no worries if you don't use it. The house is best for 3 couples or 3 usable beds. I had to sleep on the daybed, which was essentially a cardboard crib. It could use a new mattress. Aside from that, everything was lovely. We did have some initial frustration with booking. As we were charged "fees" from both Vrbo and Vacasa. We booked through Vrbo but were immediately moved to the Vacasa app. Which was confusing and annoying to pay fees on both. So be mindful of that when booking. You are also booking through a company, not an actual homeowner/ person. They were very responsive. Just something to be aware of.

Wonderful coastal home.

Such a lovely place to stay! Our family of 7 had a wonderful time enjoying the views, walking the trails and making the most of the heated Sea Ranch swimming pool. We ran out of bath towels and couldn’t find any extras, a few more would have been nice but we managed fine. The house was very clean and the kitchen was very well appointed. Arrival was super smooth and communication was clear. Overall a great experience! Thankyou!

Great family vacation

We had 3 generations together for a mini vacation. Our teen and college-aged kids enjoyed the nearby beach, the community pool, the private hot tub, star-gazing late at night in the Adirondack chairs and hours of time to relax and play games together. My dad enjoyed the view from the house as well as walks on the trails and the kids enjoyed having Netflix for a bit of down time.

Wonderful!

This was a perfect place to just enjoy being with family. Well-equipped kitchen for cooking together, comfortable beds, and an unbeatable view. We could just walk across the quiet street and be on the coastline, watching the waves and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Ocean. Loved it!

Great family space.

In general the property was as advertised. Great view and comfortable surroundings. A few minor problems: there is a leak in the skylight over the kitchen table and since it rained for two days this was a problem; a few light bulbs need replacing (over the sink, kitchen table and night stand in downstairs bedroom; knives are dull need sharpening; wood for the fireplace is cut way too large, needs to be smaller; otherwise the place was great and perfectly fit our family’s needs.

Beautiful, Sunny Home

Breakers Retreat was such a joy to stay at. The space felt perfectly designed and cozy. Plenty of space for all of us. Fireplace worked great, and kitchen is well stocked. We would highly recommend staying here!

This home was perfect for our group with ample space for 6 adults and 2 babies. The ocean views cannot be beat and access to bluff trails are steps away. We also enjoyed access to the recreation center which was a lot nicer than expected! My only complaint with this property is that the supplies like bath towels, kitchen towels, paper towels, cleaning supplies were very limited so we had to do multiple loads of laundry to have clean supplies. Overall, would definitely stay again!
