Retreat for 3 Generations!

We had a lovely retreat vacation with three adult generations. Main floor bedroom worked wonderfully for the grandparents and we all enjoyed the easy access to the bluff trail. Spotted whales spouting one evening.

Beautiful and relaxing

Stayed at this place with my family and we had such a good time! The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. It has a fully stocked kitchen, gorgeous views, and everything that we needed for a convenient stay. The location is amazing. We walked out of the house and hiked along the ocean and the kids jumped on the rocks. So much fun! We can't wait to go back there.

White Waters

We stayed at White Waters for 2 nights. I’m reluctant to write this review because we loved the house and will want to go back, and a great review will likely mean there will be more competition for future bookings. It’s a beautiful home; very well designed and sited along the oceanfront bluff. We enjoyed all of the amenities in the kitchen and throughout the house, although the media remotes were somewhat confusing. The windows were slightly dirty on the outside but that’s to be expected considering the setting near the ocean. Beautiful panoramic views.

Venturing into the backyard felt like stepping into a personal paradise with direct access to the enchanting coast trail. It's not just a backyard; it's a gateway to adventure and exploration. The clean and minimalist interior design only enhanced the experience, providing a serene backdrop that allowed the mesmerizing views of the ocean to take center stage. The large windows were like picture frames showcasing the ever-changing canvas of the sea. Whether we were cozied up indoors or savoring the fresh coastal air on the patio, the ocean was an ever-present companion, weaving its calming magic into every moment. And let's talk about luck! Heavenly Stay at Sea Ranch

Sea Ranch is a very special place and White Waters was the perfect home to experience it. From the moment you walk up the stairs and into the living room, you’re immediately drawn to the ocean view. It is breathtaking! The homes decor, furnishings and bedding are all lovely well thought through and comfortable. My family of four had so much room to stretch out and relax. The house offers so many nooks for being cozy and taking in the views. The upholstered window banquettes were our favorite lounging spots to take in the beautiful sunsets with a good book. There are books and dvd’s for use. I love that there were a few books on the history of The Sea Ranch on the coffee table. We did not use the fireplace but i imagine a fire would have been nice. A starter fire log was provided. Each room has its own designated bathroom as well as a guest bath near the stairwell. The master bath is amazing with a huge shower and lovely tub with a slight view and a skylight that opens up. Two of the rooms have an ocean view. The kitchen was large and had every nice cooking appliance, pots, pans, platters bakeware, utensils, etc., that you could need to cook all of your meals. Spices, oil and other cooking necessities were also there for use. Coffee and tea and a couple of sparkling waters were also provided as well. The Sea Ranch has beautiful walking trails along the coast underneath beautiful cypress tree arches that have been there for years. There are tide pools to enjoy as well. There are a few Recreation centers offering beautiful swimming pools, showers and wood saunas as well as tennis just short drive away. Our family enjoyed the Moonraker Rec Center because it offered drop in pickle ball (check the schedule). The nearby town of Gualala has two grocery stores and restaurants and a couple of good food/fish trucks. There’s a great coffee shop at the Sea Ranch Lodge up the road near the Moonraker. The property is very quiet and peaceful and you will definitely find rest here. I look forward to coming back again. Things to note: This home is perfect for a family or three couples. The home is very clean, beautifully furnished and well stocked. It’s out of the way so you will need to drive to get to places. Book this house, you won’t regret it.

Very well stocked kitchen with utensils and cookware. We’ve been staying at Sea Ranch for more than 45 years and have rented hundreds of homes, most of them on the bluff. White Water is one of the best places we’ve been. The only drawback was being able to burn only waxed paper logs.

Perfect for a family :) Love this house!

The view from the house is so breathtakingly beautiful!! We were there as a family of 4 to celebrate my sons college graduation. Plenty of space, and we especially loved playing games in the family/living room. The views and the comfort of this home were perfect! Close to everything! Just walking on the bluff behind the house was perfect. I loved seeing all the seals! We will be back! Thank you!!

Great location and Kitchen

Great oceanfront location at this nicely appointed home. A little path out back door takes you right to the bluff trail. Kitchen is exceptionally well-equipped compared to most rentals; think gram scale, Silpats, burr grinder, storage containers, spices, etc. My one wish would be a grill, even if electric. There must have been one at some point in the past because there are quite a few oversized grilling tools. Del Mar pool is nearby, and Gualala, with two great grocery stores, is a 3min drive north. Had to partake of live Tour de France on TV; plenty of apps for streaming including Peacock.
