“Clean, big room, cosy, well equipped, friendly staff and lovely and peaceful. The only downside was that the pub adjoining was shut when we arrived! But there was a shop about a mile and a half away, so we could get goodies. ”

“This was definitely the best accomodation we had during our two week trip of the UK. Fiona and Steve were very welcoming hosts. The historic house is cozy, as is the guest lounge and breakfast room. The lounge is equipped with a quality stereo system, a record player and a large and truly excellent selection of LPs. You can select your breakfest and your music of choice in the evening. Breakfast was very good, too. Our hosts also offered very helpful tips on where to go for dinner or……

“The Bull is centrally located in Bridport with all the towns facilities within easy walking distance. The hotel itsrlf was very welcoming and the staff efficient and helpful. Our room was clean and well appointed. We stayed on a bed and breakfast tariff and breakfast was plentiful and of good quality. We took advantage of the guest car park which was safe and easily reached through the hotel. Would stay again if in the local area.”

All the things you don't find in chain hotels are here - four poster bed, comfy sofa, coffee table and chairs sat amongst a wonderful backdrop, dark and quiet at night for a great sleep. And not to forget the amazing and genuine owners, Tim and Rosemarie, and Teresa who served a great breakfast ”
