  • Welcome to 153 High Hammock, a charming seaside retreat located in the heart of Seabrook Island. With its prime location, the beach and Seabrook Island club, ocean front pools, and golf are just a half mile away. The Lakehouse at Seabrook Island, Bohicket Marina, Freshfields Village, and Kiawah Island are all nearby. Downtown historic Charleston is a scenic 21 mile drive.

    With elevated ceilings and abundant natural light, guests enter into a relaxing, spacious open floor plan. The living area features a large screen TV with streaming and cable, comfortable seating, and access to the deck. Guests love to relax, unwind, and reconnect under the ancient oaks amongst the peaceful, lush greenery. The Adirondack chairs are a great spot for morning coffee in the salt air. Off the living area, the guest bathroom features a vanity and walk-in shower providing a second bathroom and ample space for all.

    Flowing seamlessly off the living room, the dining area offers an ideal place to eat or gather for game night. The well-stocked, updated kitchen has everything needed for entertaining and serving, including spices, a Keurig, and a standard coffee maker.

    The master bedroom, decorated in a palette of serene beach colors, features a queen bed with a new mattress, dresser, TV, closet, and ample lighting. An ensuite bath with an oversized vanity and tub/shower combo is well-stocked with towels and super tidy and clean. The guest bedroom offers a queen bed. The property features high-speed WIFI too.

    To make your trips to the shore effortless, the villa comes equipped with two beach chairs and a beach cart. The washer and dryer in the unit come with a few laundry pods to start your stay. For the convenience of our guests, we also provide a few starter items: a roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet tissue per bathroom, liquid dish soap, a kitchen sponge, some kitchen garbage bags, a few dishwasher pods, a few laundry pods, body soap, bath soap, and shampoo.

    For added comfort and peace of mind, the villa undergoes a comprehensive, detailed cleaning process maintaining the highest of cleanliness standards for your stay. Floors are well scrubbed, surfaces are sanitized, fresh towels and linens are provided, and bedcoverings are laundered off-site prior to every stay. Essential cleaning items, such as all-purpose cleaners, a broom, and a vacuum are provided for guests too.

    This property is dog-friendly. A non-refundable pet fee applies and must be paid prior to your stay.

    • BEACH: 0.5 miles away. Two beach chairs and a beach cart are included with your stay.
    • CLUB AMENITIES: Amenity Cards not available. Lakehouse outdoor pool accessible.
    • POOL: Access to the Seabrook Island Lake House is included.
    • PARKING: This property allows for a maximum of 2 vehicle gate passes.
    • MAXIMUM OVERNIGHT OCCUPANCY: 6 guests.
    • LSV GOLF CARTS: No LSV vehicles are permitted at this property.
    • CHILDREN: Children welcome.
    • PET POLICY: Dog-friendly. 1 dog maximum. (Pet fee applies).
    • LONG-TERM RENTALS: This property is open to winter monthly rentals and long-term rentals. Please contact us for discounted monthly rental rates.
    • PROFESSIONALLY LICENSED & MANAGED: Short-Term Rental License STR2025000101.
    • ADDITIONAL INFO: $69 Non-Refundable Fee for $1500 of Damage Protection Coverage.

    • LINENS, TOWELS, & STARTER-KIT OF SUPPLIES: Included in this rental, for the convenience of our guests, are comfortable, white linens and a selection of bath and hand towels, as well as washcloths. A starter set of hand soaps, bath soaps, shampoo, toilet tissue, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, dish soap, a kitchen sponge, and kitchen towels are included. Guests staying for an extended stay may need to purchase or bring additional supplies. This property has some beach towels (we ask that you launder the beach towels you use), and there is towel service available at the Beach Club.

    • WASHER & DRYER: A washer and dryer are located in the unit for your convenience. Should you require wash n fold service, please let us know.

    • COFFEE MAKERS: A standard carafe coffee maker and a Keurig single-serve machine are on site. (BYO ground coffee for the carafe or use the provided Keurig K-cups.)

    • AMENITY CARDS: Amenity cards not available. Guests have complimentary access to the uncrowded and private beaches, equestrian center, and the outdoor Lakehouse pool. The fitness center is accessible for a daily fee of $16 per guest. Whether you are fishing, crabbing, biking, kayaking, or shopping, there is something for everyone.

    • ISLAND ACCESS & PARKING: As the island is a gated, private island, each vehicle entering the island will require a gate pass for island access. Seabrook Island Property Association (SIPOA) has now started charging a gate pass fee per vehicle. This property has a limit of 2 vehicle passes. This $45 fee per vehicle applies to guests staying 1 night to 179 nights. Our rental agency is responsible for collecting the fee. Gate pass name information for each car is due one week prior to your arrival. For each pass, a driver's name must be provided. Drivers may be required to show a valid Driver's license when at the gate. Once a vehicle has a gate pass, any licensed driver can drive that vehicle. LSV vehicles (low speed golf carts) are unfortunately prohibited at the villa complex.

    • CHECK IN: For our guest's convenience, we offer a prompt, self check-in process. Guests will directly check-in at the property with a code for the keypad on the door. We, however, are always a phone call or text away. We offer as much assistance with the check-in process as needed. Our office is available to answer questions.

    • CONTINUOUS MANAGEMENT & SERVICE: This property is proudly managed by Sandpiper. We are local and family-owned, and your stay is our priority. We are on the island, licensed, insured, and locally staffed. Our standard for your stay is what we would want and expect for our own vacation. We offer guests continuous, attentive service during the reservation process and throughout your time here. From the moment you book with us, in planning and preparing for your arrival, throughout your stay with us, and even after checking out and sharing your experience with us, we remain committed to your vacation experience and are here at any time to answer any questions that arise or concerns you have. We want you to have a relaxing, safe, and memorable trip.

    • CLEANING: Cleanliness is a hallmark of every stay. Our housekeeping teams are trained to use the best hygiene practices at all times. With the combination of these best detailed practices, our employees, clients, and guests should be safe from the spread of germs. We launder the bedcoverings (comforters, bedspreads, quilts) after every single stay.

    • THE AREA: Guests will find that the area offers so much to do. With vast, uncrowded beaches, an array of recreational offerings, and the historic city of Charleston just 21 miles away, an adventure awaits you daily.

    • IN THE EVENT OF A STORM: If a Mandatory Evacuation Order for Seabrook Island is given during the dates of your stay, The Owner/Host or the Property Management Company shall refund 100% of all deposits, payments and / or monies paid by the traveler. Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no further liability with respect to the Reservation. Please note that if there is inclement weather in the other 49 states, prohibiting the traveler (or guests in traveler's group) from getting to Charleston, a refund will not be issued and, Owner/Host or Property Management Company shall have no liability with respect to the Reservation. During months where there is a potential for inclement weather, such as hurricane season, we strongly suggest travelers obtain insurance.

    • POLICY ON SMOKING: No smoking please. Violators will be fined for in-home smoke damages.

    • CANCELLATION POLICY: Free cancellations up to 30 days before your stay.

    • PARTIES: This is an ideal property for making memories but this is NOT A PARTY PROPERTY!!

The property is beautifully decorated, immaculate and comfortable. Everything from booking to our exit went smoothly and Ann and crew were extremely helpful. We were also quite pleased by how comfortable the beds were and how clear all instructions pertaining to the condo and Seabrook Island were. It's a gorgeous place and 153 High Hammock is a great place to stay.KM
