Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was most welcome after a long drive. We ate at the restaurant which had a very good menu, the food was very good and well presented and reasonably priced. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful too. I would happily recommend Purdy Lodge without hesitation."

"Very clean and comfortable room. Friendly and welcoming staff and lovely continental breakfast included in price. Plenty of on-street parking near the hotel and within walking disrance to.the main centre. Good value for money. Our only complaint was that the restaurant was not serving food in the evening as the chef was away. One of the reasons we had chosen the hotel was that it had a restaurant, and food choices nearby were limited unless walking some distance. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you "
