“We enjoyed our four nights at the cottage. It was very clean, well-maintained, and had some great touches - like the cabinet lighting in the kitchen and beautiful quartz countertops. The view from the deck was amazing, and we enjoyed watching the seagulls, ducks and geese in the mornings and evenings. The cottage was extremely close to Acadia National Park, allowing us access to multiple trail heads on the quiet side of MDI. Overall, a great stay.”

“This Maine cottage has everything you need for a quiet stay on the Southwest Harbor side of Acadia National park - only 15 minutes away. Kitchen is well equipped. Cove that it is on is quiet. Would definitely come back again.”

“This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones! This is better quality then most hotels for the money with the exception of no running water and outside (clean) bathroom. So, if you see this and you are……

“This place had everything we needed plus a beautiful view. It was about 45 minutes from Acadia but was worth the drive.”

“As soon as my spouse and I walked in, it was almost like a magickal getaway! The lighting, the smell, the atmosphere overall was so relaxing and warm and inviting! Amanda had so much prepared and setup for easing into our vacation, getting comfortable, having the little things ready for the morning. The yard is on a forest active with birds and squirrels and other critters - even saw a wild turkey! AMAZING PLACE! Wonderful! Thank you!!!”

“We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was small, but had everything we needed. Being right on the water was beautiful! It was a little chilly in the evening, but that fire pit was awesome! We had a nice fire to help keep us warm. Loved how private it was, never heard or saw anyone during our stay”

“Lighthouse Cabins were very clean and the owners are very friendly, professional and full of information for us. We were not sure what to do at this part of Acadia NP and we were helped. Lovely inside cabin, hot water all the time and free washer and drier. Would stay again. ”
