My wife and I and our two kids had a great 3 nights here. It was close enough to go do things but far enough away to feel like a real beach vacation. It was clean and great. Everyone loved it.

My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed and such a fantastic view. It was beautifully decorated and SO CLEAN!!! Bonus - we saw a seal at seal rock! Cherry on top for the trip:)

Had everything we needed. Space for kids and dogs. Beach is not busy in Seal Rock, which is nice. Was clean and stocked with supplies. Just needed a little yard maintenance in the backyard neededneeded backyard

This is the best rental property I've ever stayed at. We didn't want to leave. It is luxurious, private, and comfortable. If you enjoy the beach and want to stay somewhere memorable, this is the spot! We will be back!

Can't beat the views from the deck, couch or bed. Just a 2 minute walk down the stairs to a very private beach. Also had some of the best tide pools I've seen. There was a very good bakery only 5 minutes away (The Chubby Mermaid).

Everything was top notch, views, beach access, coziness! Only a couple issues Need to be addressed, back yard gate is totally broken, deck stairs are rotted and jagged with wood splinters and nails stick out, back yard needs mowed, it is full of huge sticker bushes which makes walking on it impossible. But had a wonderful stay and definitely would come back.

The house is very well maintained, clean, with excellent kitchen and well-suited for family or small friends group gatherings. Liked being near Luna Restaurant, great place to paddle board nearby and a lovely creek/state park area, proximity to Newport and wonderful beach to enjoy with great tide pools at low tide. Great location. Deck is in poor shape. Beams in kitchen quite awkward. Bed too firm for us, but it is a matter of preference. Very small dining table, really for just two. Other than that, the location made up for those inconveniences.

We had a great time at the house! What a view! The kitchen was great and we used it to cook dinner one night and make lunches. It was also close to Nye Beach and Yachats for some exploring and eating. The easy access to the beach and tide pools was the highlight...we saw a lot of different animals! The only downside was that the house did smell like dogs. While it was *very* clean, the previous guests must have had some stinkers.

Beautiful spot on the coast, beds were comfy. The private beach access was a little difficult for my 76 yr old mother but the rest of us loved it. The view from the deck, living room and upper level bedroom are amazing. Plenty of cooking and serving items. We will be back.

My husband and I had a great stay on the Oregon central coast at this amazing property! We loved the ocean views and the easy access to the beach to get in some daily beach walks with our dog. The house itself was very nice and clean with updated kitchen and bathrooms. One small piece of feedback: one night when it was extremely windy, there were what I believe were some vents on the house that were constantly banging and made it hard to sleep (just that one night). Other than that, we had an amazing experience and would love to stay again in the future!

We loved this spot! The view is amazing, beach access was easy for us, and the home was well stocked. So nicely done! The only reason I did’t give 5 stars is the slippery LVP stairs to the upper bedroom. We have two big dogs, both over 150lbs. They’re very agile, yet both took falls on the stairs. We finally gave up and slept on the main level. Other than that - great place!

Loved the view, mattresses were very comfortable, but: the dishwasher barely got the dishes clean and never dry AND there was dog hair stuck to the dining room chairs and in the main level bedroom, there was a MASS of dark dog hair that rolled out from under the night stand. When checking under the bed for forgotten items, I was appalled at the filth that was under there. Also,there was NO hanging space in that bedroom, not even a hook. Pictures were forwarded on.

Above The Waves is a spectacular ocean front spot to take in the Oregon coast. However, there was a serious communication fail between the property management and the property. We were instructed there was trash and towel concierge with the house. There wasn’t. I texted, emailed and called about that and a backed up garbage disposal. Sweet Homes acknowledged my issues and said they’d pass the information on..but nothing was ever done. Our last morning at the property was spent gathering up trash that critters had gotten into because the trash had not been collected.

The house was overall nice. The location on the cliff with easy beach access was great. It was a little difficult to sleep because of traffic noise given the proximity to 101. Also, the primary bedroom mattress wasn't great. They did allow us to bring our dog which was great, but didn't have any way to clean her. We had to purchase a hose so that we could keep her from trashing the house with sand. Overall good experience.
