"The bad: staff check us into the wrong room. We unpacked sat down, started watching TV to relax after a 3 1/2 hour drive only to be told we had to change rooms.
The good: staff was friendly, the facility is very clean and very close to the beach.
We ended up with a king bed and if a bathroom counter is important to you i.e. being able to do your make up, the king room we had was not conducive to that. It literally has no counter space, just a sink awkwardly placed in the entry hallway outside of the bathroom. It’s a very odd set up.
The hotel is very clean. It’s in a great location, with easy access to the promenade as well as the main downtown strip.
Though the staff was really nice, it was very frustrating to have to move to a new room after we had already fully unpacked and sat down to relax. They didn’t even ask if we’d be willing, it was that we had to. We were offered no sort of compensation for inconvenience or discount."
