Hannah and Kendal were extremely helpful to us when confused with booking, Hannah rearranged everything to suit our needs, thank you Hannah. Everything from start to finish was really great and made our diamond anniversary break even more special for us. Even the weather was good so we could go out and about with no problem. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and looked after us rally well. WOULD HIGHLY Recommend staying at the Anchor Inn. Thank youfor everything.

The room we had was clean and tidy with clean towels etc. We did fine some sweets and a tablet under the bed when I dropped my own tablet but otherwise, clean. One wall light appeared to not work but not a problem to us. The staff throughout were friendly and helpful. There is a well stocked bar with national brands as well as more local ones. Beer is a lovely place where you can relax and life slows down if you want it to.

Excellent location with generous double room facing the sea. Staff worked on our behalf with enthusiasm, efficiency and good humour always. We enjoyed perfectly prepared meals in a relaxing setting with characterful references reminiscent of Beer’s fishing heritage. The building was tired, externally and internally.
