I’m not sure what you’re referring to as cleaning requests as we do not ask our travelers to do any cleaning whatsoever. We do have check out procedures upon departure which I believe are pretty standard, in all vacation rentals. Check out procedures prepare the home to be cleaned and encourage travelers to pick up after themselves. These procedures typically request that the trash be taken out, and the dishes are loaded in the dishwasher. We request that all linens remain on the bed and that used towels are all tossed in the laundry room. Additional items like reducing the thermostat, lights out and doors locked will also be found on the check out procedures list. No cleaning of the actual home is ever requested. Our procedures were adopted from a standard procedures list, upon reviewing them again, I did notice something that was unnecessary (wiping out the refrigerator) and removed it, so thank you for that. 😊 I’m sad you were uncomfortable with the white linens, it’s been our experience over the past 20 years that white linens are actually far easier to maintain than any other color! With keeping all the linens consistent it is easier for the cleaning crew to wash the linens rather than having multiple colors. We have also found over the years that white is actually quite easy to keep clean, and if something gets stained easy to replace! White linens also keep the home looking fresh and clean and offer a spa like appeal! We adopted this decor many years ago and have had great success with it!
