"Well appointed Scandinavian style rooms. Good size room for Iceland. The hotel had all the services to offer. The only drawback is a lack of a guest lobby to lounge in outside of your room. In Iceland you are normally out of the room all day, but it would have been nice to have a spot to kick back. "

"This was my first time staying at a Hub hotel. On arrival, there was an employee near the entrance that was able to explain how I do the self check in. The self check was very efficient. There is a common area with kettle, microwave and fridge for food storage. Dishes/cutlery available for use and when done, you just place it in the dishwasher. As a single traveller, there was enough room for me to open my checked and carryon luggage then store it under the table. For two people and luggage, it may be tight unless there are bigger hubs. I chose an upper bed which was easy to get up into and the bed and duvet was very comfortable. The common bathroom has private toilet and shower stalls and was well kept and clean. I saw a few other people, mostly in the common area. Overall, the place is quiet and sleep was comfortable. It is more affordable than standard hotels in Reykjavík so if you don’t mind the smaller space, it is a comfortable stay. "

"We loved the food options all within walking distance. This hotel is in a great spot, clean, great staff, and comfortable. I will be staying at Hotel Selfoss everytime I come to Iceland. The breakfast has everything you need to get off on the right foot. Close to the golden circle and southern sights. This is the place for me."
