The host is friendly. The room and location is everything we look for, clean, spacious and beautiful view. Couple things for recommendation, it would be nice to have a mirror outside the restroom and a number with light for customer to easily identify the home.

We had a wonderful two night stay here. It is a bit away from anything which we liked, but be sure to plan accordingly. It was easy to spend the day on the ring road leaving that morning and making our way back in the evening (the never ending sunlight helped). The room is well appointed, everything you could need in the kitchen. My daughter loved playing with their two well behaved dogs. Be sure to pay attention to their directions, apple maps will take you 30 minutes in the wrong direction.

Nice stay. The houses are very remote and dining options are about a 20-30 minute drive. The rooms were clean, our shower was clogged though. It’s a great place to view the northern lights since it is so remote. Great stay and seamless/easy check in.

Our first two nights in Iceland were here and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The dogs on the property made this one of our favorite stays of all time. We loved being greeted by them and playing fetch outside. Inside was very spacious and clean. Check in was super easy.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Lots of privacy, beautiful sunset and was able to catch a glimpse of northern lights during our stay. The dogs on the property were incredibly sweet and made the stay so much more memorable and fun.

We had a fantastic time here. The cabin was warm, clean and spacious and private with everything we needed to be self sufficient catering-wise. It was fabulous to be able to just step out on the deck to see the Aurora two nights in a row! We'd highly recommend this fabulous accommodation!

We loved Heima Holiday Homes! The check-in was easy and the home was perfect for our needs! We loved that the bathroom floor was heated and the amenities of the home. Parking was convenient. Would definitely recommend stay there.

We loved the location and the sites we wanted to see on the golden circle route were within an hours drive. The heated floors were nice to have during our Winter visit and the kitchen had the things we needed to prepare our meals. The doggie visits were fun and they are very sweet. The property was clean and we enjoyed our stay.

Selfoss and southern Iceland

Great location to watch the Aurora and explore southern Iceland. Selfoss is a nice little town with grocery stores and restaurants 20 min away. The standalone room was very nice, super comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful views, all around, very quiet and peaceful.

Modern cabin in a rural area equipped with everything you need. There are 3 extremely friendly and adorable sheep dogs on the property. We also really enjoy the rugged views from the cabin. Highly recommend!
