Good breakfast and butler services
Located near the north part of Seminyak, the L Hotel was not very near to the beach clubs. However, there are quite a number of good restaurants around the corner. The breakfast was very good as you could choose American, Indonesian, Continental and Vegan. The coffee here was super good, plus the omelette and the charcoal baguette. The staff will keep smiling and asking if you are good with the services, which made us feel very warm and safe. The hotel offered butler services and a phone to you and you could call the drivers when you wanna go out or come back in Seminyak area, free of charge. However, please do reserve at least 2X times than you have expected as the traffic is terrible around Seminyak. The room was clean and provided hair dryer and unlimited mineral water.

nice and trendy room, except for the tiny toilet it was perfect for a short stay. Gym is "outsourced" and actually it was fantastic (beautiful outdoor swimming pool, great gym, sauna, etc...) the staff? 5stars. All smiles, helpful, dedicated, full of positive vibes. Breakfast not brilliant, but still ok. Location, near shops and amazing restaurant...

Staff were fantastic, but hotel room was very dirty. Disappointing that there is no pool, I didn’t read the fine print and seeing wellness Centre - would have assumed the pool was part of the hotel. If the hotel rooms and corridors got a good detail clean, it would be better

Wonderful stay
What a lovely hotel! Great location, lobby was pleasant and welcoming and room was gorgeous! Staff were so so so so kind and helpful and went above and beyond to help us and to ensure we had everything we needed. Only downside is the toilet whi h is basically in the wardrobe.

Very basic accommodation. Toilet was literally inside a wardrobe cupboard and stunk. Wasn’t anything special and I wouldn’t stay there again. Just glad we only stayed for 1 night to be closer to the airport.

The staff as at the hotel were super helpful, the area is very close to the Seminyak sqaure. And the shuttle service of the hotel to the square is also very good. The only issue of the hotel is that our room was on the street side of the hotel and it was very noisy at night. P.S don't leave a box of pills open because ants will eat them!!

The staff were wonderful, the room itself was ok, nothing special and rather small. There is no swimming pool, the pool is located elsewhere down the road which you get a free pass to. I found this inconvenient and would. Or have booked this hotel if I knew there was no pool there

Umm I loved the staff and wanted to rate this hotel better but as much as they tried the fact is it is an old hotel and needs some TLC. I couldn’t have a hot bath after the first night, the aircon was so noisy I had to sleep with earplugs. This was the Luxe suite and not cheap! But to be honest the staff went above and beyond to make my stay there as nice as possible.

There was not much around the local area and it is a few minute scooter ride to the beach. The hotel is very small and crammed. The pool is at another location up the road at a wellness centre where they serve protein shakes and healthy juices but no beer or cocktails etc. Not a hotel / relaxation vibe at all. The rooms don't have balconies. Breakfast was nice and good happy hour up on roof top bar with possibly the best espresso martini I've ever had in Bali. Can't fault the staff they were super lovely but the hotel itself is small and lacks any sort of relaxing / holiday / Bali vibe.

The staff
Hotel was fantastic and made better by the staff. They could not help enough. The hotel doesn't have a pool but the staff organise access to a health spa just down the road and also drop you there and puck you up when you are finished. You can also be dropped anywhere in Seminyak and picked up any time day and night.

Very friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble for them and they drop you off/pick you up anywhere you want to go in Seminyak. The health club up the road that you get access to is quite nice as well.

Friendliest Staff! Best Location!
The hotel is within walking distance to great cafes such as KYND & Cafe Organic, you can grab the best coffee from Revolver. Three highly recommended restaurants such Sangsaka, Merah Putih and Metis restaurants are also reachable by foot.

Where do i begin ...... We booked a stay of 13 nights covering christmas and new year in there mid level legian suite .we arrived and was shown to our room by a butler (porter) To say i was disappointed would be a understatement,the room was small and not what the pictures portray it as in size and no view except of rooftops. The room was not cleaned properly ,namely the shower and toilet etc with what looked like a piece of plaque/gum tarter stuck to edge of sink ! After staying for 2 days i decided to complain after lying in bed listening to roaring water sounds coming from corner of shower (drain pipe from above floors) i explained i was not happy with noise and that room was not clean and not getting cleaned daily,and that i wanted to be moved ,i was later told that hotel was full but i could be moved to there basic room on facing street,i said no thanks. Later that day the butler assured me the room had been properly cleaned and she had inspected it personally ,have a look at pictures folks i took and make your own mind up !for a supposedly 4.5 star hotel its a disgrace and an insult .the walls are paper thin and we could hear both sides talking and tv which im sure they could hear us also ..... The wooden floor had nail heads sticking up as shown in picture and floor was uneven and dirty /dusty /hairs ,the scum in corners of shower and toilet floor say it all in the pictures. Dear Darren, It is much to my dismay to learn about your dissatisfied stay with us. Looking at your tripadvisor profile as contributor, it appears most places you visited during your travel , did not meet the mark nor could delight you. I am sorry to hear that we did not manage to meet your expectations. Firstly, to clarify, upon arrival, we upgraded you from lifestyle to legian suite room as you cited that the lead in room is kind of petite. Actually, our hotel is reputed to be of high standard and service. Your case is an isolated one that i am equally shocked to hear. Your pointers are well noted and we will certainly fix every comment you raised. You stayed during a very peak season and while we tried to deliver a perfect service, i understand that there are areas, maintenance to that particular room u stayed that faltered. Our hotel concept is about our butlers serving guests, hence coffee tea making facilities is not what we provide in room. In bali, the mother tongue is Bahasa and generally Balinese can converse in conversational English. Our staff are hired based on the ability to converse basic English as one of the criterias. It is not expected of the locals to speak Queen's English but they have good enough ability to relate simply. As for your breakfast experience at Grow, i am sorry to hear that it did not meet your delight. Yes, i do understand and i have reiterated to our F&B team to be more flexible in future and to treat each case carefully. We will buck up on our F&B service and provide more training to staff. We were probably quite short handed during the festive period and hence service delivery may have delayed slightly. I am not sure why you complain about the wine, as Grow prices are fairly more affordable than many other venues in the area.To explain more clearly, our restaurant serves up two types of breakfast, one is L bre

We stayed in their second type of room, it was small but we knew that going in and were amazed by their creative use of space, room condition was good, staff was nervous but friendly and had good intentions so check in took a little bit longer for a small hotel. Overall it was a good stay, we were in the seminary area for a night just for business and a dinner.

Great location
The best thing about this small hotel is the staff, they are amazing and I felt looked after and at home. The location and food are great too! Rooms are small and because of the layout of the bathroom there isn't much privacy so I think it's suitable for solo travellers or a couple. Rooftop is nice and there was a good vibe on the night the dj was playing. But to me the only disappointment was not having a pool in the same building which was something I only realized when I got there.

The staff was absolutely amazing. The only thing that bothered me was that I didn't have hot water for the first 5 days. Someone told me that because of the weather hot water wasn't that important. When I complained they sent someone up and fixed the problem. Didn't know you had to ask for a hot shower..... Other than that I loved the place.

My wife and I spent 10 days in Bali staying at this lovely hotel. The staff were very professional and friendly. The room was alway cleaned and the hotel was in good proximity to shops and restaurants.

the hotel was really good. service was great and location was perfect as well. breakfast was delicious and staff were extremely attentive. truly enjoyed my stay here. The pool is not on site but is a minute walk away at the most but other than that, the hotel is perfect.

An excellent hotel overall
The first impression upon arrival was that the hotel was very small, but it seems good things do come in small packages. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms are exceptional. What more could you ask for? Close to good restaurants and cafes maybe? Well then L is the hotel for you. The best thing about the hotel is their rooftop bar, GROW UP. Stay a couple of nights as we did and see for yourself.

Great 4 star luxury in the middle of Seminyak
Incredibly central. Great food, the breakfast is insane, coffee is delicious, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The toilet is pretty close to the bed if you're a newly minted couple but otherwise it's great value if you're looking for somewhere close to all the action in Seminyak. Pool is a walk away which is odd but still good they have a pool. Room are very small but cosy. Staff are some of the best in south east Asia

Comfortable stay where staff went above and beyond to make sure you were pleased. Had issues with the air conditioning but staff and manager handled the situation and more than made up for my discomfort. Great value for money and fantastic location

Such a great boutique hotel in the heart of Seminyak. Close to Sarong, Potato Head and the best day spas. Staff were so friendly and accommodating!

Very nice hotel to stay in. The staff were really friendly and we're happy to help with anything. After we mentioned we were leaving and had an evening flight they even let us stay in the room until the afternoon rather than checking out at 12. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Although the outdoor pool is a minute walk up the road it is very private and nice to relax in as well as being staffed at all times. I was concerned it was too far from the beach but the hotel runs a free shuttle and pick up service and they quickly sorted us out with a good moped to get around on so this was not a problem. We were very pleased with our stay here and would definately go back.

Hotel was so comfortable. Love the bed especially. Hotel staff were friendly. They provided a local phone to call the butler wherever you were and you can choose the type of pillow for your goodnight sleep. It was a wonderful stay. Could have been perfect if staff were more giving about the Kiehls products.

Pros: Great staff, very friendly, helpful and personable. You feel that you're been well taken care of by a family. Room is great, good amenities with Khiel's amenities and TWG Camomile tea. Will be great if they could include the body lotion too but i am not complaining, very generous of the team. Good location, you can walk to the main seminyak area (~8-10mins). Would recommend this as a value for money stay. Cons: Hotel is situated ~10min walk away from main seminyak area (W hotel, Potato Head Club) Hence if you're staying out late it might be dangerous for you to walk back to L hotel. I had friends that sent me back on a cab before they cab back to their hotel, which they shouldnt have but very nice of them. The hand basin and mirrors are perpendicular to each other, hence annoying when you need to dress up because you need to twist your body 90 degrees to do your stuff.

Make sure you find out if the hotel has construction work at the time of your stay. We had no rest as the construction work started early in the morning and finished at 10:00p.m. I am afraid we had not much rest.

Nice hotel close to gym/restaurants
I stayed at the L Hotel for 5 nights whilst visiting Bali for a bit of a detox. I chose the hotel because it was directly across the road from the gym I was planning on visiting. It was a lovely hotel with everything I needed - nice room, shower, staff and great location for me or anyone planning on visiting seminyak/bedung. Unfortunately the pool wasn't directly at the hotel but I don't swim much so wasn't a problem for me.
