Loved our stay.
The staff at Seminyak Icon were so friendly. The communication was clear and via WhatsApp which made it convenient as an international traveller. The location is great as it’s on a quiet street and away from the hustle and bustle yet an easy walk to the Main Street. The villa is spacious and the pool was a great size.

2 days in the villa
Our first impression was the villa did not look clean. After we settled down, we agreed the bedroom is clean except the toilet seat cover needs to be changed as there were yellow stains. I did feedback to the staff as well. The doors need to be vanished and pool needs a deep clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable. AC & water is powerful & hot enough. The staff are friendly and responsive. Breakfast is decent except latte is really weak for a coffee drinker. I requested for a stronger latte the next day but I think they did not understand. Lastly, it is located at the back of the busy road (approximately 300 metres) making it dangerous to walk alone in the dark alley at night. The villa does not provide mosquito repellent in the mosquitoes infested villa, pls get one before arrival. Mosquito coil provided after 6pm is not good enough unless u wrapped yourself up.

We suggest guest not to open the door between sunset time, that's why when we do turn down service, we put mosquito coil outside the door.For your information,our villa working together with professional pest control company and don't forget Bali is tropical country. For the location,some guest like it because it's quiet and because we are in the villa area,most of the villa have their own security. Stayed here for 5 days, and what a stay we had! Service here is excellent, beyond excellent, and if not for fantastic service, our stay would not have happened. Ms Kurnia and her colleague went out of their way to make this stay possible for us. They worked some magic for which we are truly grateful. Communication was easy, fantastic English. During our stay, WhatsApp texts allowed for us to place our teatime and breakfast orders no matter where we were. This is extremely convenient. Some breakfast and tea time items were a hit, some much less but there's good food all around Bali anyway. Dining aside, the villa itself was spacious, the pool did not feel extremely cold even in rainy weather and the bathroom was spacious! Overall, great location, great villa, and more importantly, absolutely fantastic service! Thank you so much, Ms Kurnia and your friend, who helped us make this stay possible!

On 22/1 the whole villa did not have water from 9:00 until 4:00pm (6hours). Staff could only say it was fixing without any contingency plan provided. The toilet bowl in one of the rooms was leaking causing extremely terrible smell filled in the whole room. Everyday we complained and the staff came and tried to fix but in vain. No room was offered to change. They just covered the smell by spraying room refresher. Not acceptable at all. When asked for senior management attention, the staff said she was on CNY holiday and not in Bali.

Dear Fung Yin Catherine,Appreciate for your review on Seminyak Icon.We are sure once in our lifetime we do encounter bad unforseen events that we truly can't control.We could argue all day of what might be the contigency plans we could take, when our occupancy was 100%.Knowing then and now, we believed our staffs tried to resolve it to the best of our abilities. We couldn't offer other villas for replacement as we were fully booked.Further more, we tried to make things right for our shortcomings.We believed our good intension ougweight the problems we had given the situation we were in. That was what count.Early 22 Jan 2023, our fresh water main pump broke down and took 6 hrs to bring it back. We did appologized for this inconvinience for all our guests. No one wanted this to happen, including us. It was genuine bad incident. To show our good intentions, we took off your Spa charges for 6 people that afternoon.Sure,this act did not erase our shortcoming. However, it definitely showed our good intention to make things right.Had we not do a good job, you would't keep coming back for more Spa for the next day despite of all problems we had.Again, we do appologize for allThanks,Seminyak Icon Team

Just stayed here for 4x nights, Villa was nice and private and very quiet. Communications is done over WhatsApp which is convenient but someone is at reception if you don’t have WhatsApp. Breakfast was nice with a few choices, private pool was nice and clean, free transport to the square twice per day is also good although taxis are not too expensive. The square and beach is around a 20 minute walk away, there are some local convenience shops near by. Would certainly stay here again!

Our stay here was a 8/10. The staff there was extremely nice and lovely and they made us feel very comfortable. They provided us with the best recommendations and they always communicated with us for breakfast, tea, or anything we needed to know. Seminyak was our favorite city to visit in Bali and the hello action of the hotel was just perfect. The only thing I would say was not the best experience was having different room/section for the living room/bathroom. It was annoying to leave the bedroom area to then go outside and open another door for the living room/kitchen. Overall good experience and we enjoyed the floating tray breakfast. The staff there really made our experience memorable.

The in-villa breakfasts were excellent and the service from the staff in general was fantastic. I think next time we will book a 2 bed villa so we get a bit more space though. The pool was really nice and the location is quiet.

The combination of a pleasant private pool, good room service and a separate lounge area found us spending more time relaxing in our 'mini villa' than exploring the island. The included afternoon tea was to a standard only to be found at hotels such as the Ritz in Piccadilly. If you are looking for a peaceful, worry free stay the Icon is hard to beat.

The Seminyak Icon offered us all the modern conveniences and more. The privacy and courtesy of staff was by far the best I've ever come across. The food was exceptional, the complimentary breakfast and high tea was fantastic. The bed in our one bedroom villa was comfortable.and the staff were there to help every step of the way. I would definitely go and visit again. This made my Bali holiday that much more of an experience.

Great stay at the Seminyak Icon
The hotel was beautiful and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. Once I booked the hotel I got confirmation and also booked the complimentary shuttle pick up at the airport. The villa itself was great with our own private pool. The room was clean and spacious. The beds are so comfortable! The afternoon tea and breakfast in our room each morning was a great little touch. Staff at the hotel even organised a shuttle to take us to Seminyak Square free of charge. There are a few nice little restaurants within walking distance just be aware that the road is quite dark but a torch is provided in the room for you to use. Loved our stay at the Seminyak Icon.

Couldn’t have had a better stay and really didn’t want to come home! Villas are spacious, private and comfortable. Infinity pools are really clean. Staff really friendly and can’t do enough for you. Great breakfast options to choose from, high tea was different every day, and it’s great that this is served in your villa. We will return!

Private pool villa
If you want complete privacy.. Hide in your own villa... Relax by the private pool and don't want to see anyone else around then YES this is the place. Location : located in a quite street so you may feel disconnected. It is 5-10 min walk from busy legian shopping street and 20-30 min walk to 66 beach. Free Shuttle service is available but limited availability. Villa : exactly what you see in the photos and virtual tour. Clean and Room service is one of the best. Every time you go out they organise your room. Pool is deep 1.25-1.5 m and long enough for a swim. Food : breakfast had limited choice as well as a la carte menu. But prices are very reasonable comparing with restaurants in Seminyak. High tea is amazing. +++ Staff : very friendly. Always smile and greet you. Almost all the places we visited we experience this. Bali people are very friendly. Mini bar is free so what is in there you can consume without a cost. Negatives As lot of people mention in the comments villa had 3 keys and sliding doors were a struggle to lock. Lighting in side the bedroom and bathroom was not good enough. Felt very dull and dark at night. Bathroom was bit smaller and commode to close to shower glass. When you sit your legs hits on the glass so have to sit side ways. Bed was not comfortable. We complained and they tried their best to help but for this level of villa that mattress was not very comfy. Towels looks very old.

The inclusive airport shuttle, Seminyak shuttle and breakfast and tea make our stay a nice one. The staff are very helpful and they helped us with all the reservations for day tours and dinner.
