"The lady was excellent, except there was a surprise 60 euro fee for transport, the room was nothing like the pictures, no basic toiletries like shampoo,water, tea all that was put out was two rolls and a bottle of wine (I don't drink so waste) there are a lot of thin stairs very difficult to carry bags up , there is no help. The location has nothing to do and is an hour at minimum and 2 hours at maximum to go anywhere you want to with activities. If you are choosing a place I suggest not here choose something near Como city center or Bellagio, I honestly feel like this was a waste of money, and the struggle to do anything just frustrated me more. "

"The home was impeccable, Carla was a very gracious helpful host, gave us a whole lot of information to make the most out of our two day stay. "The house is very nice and fully equipped. It has a nice balcony to enjoy the scenery. It has an ample size private parking lot. Although address is easily accessible, GPS doesn't help you to find it easily. I followed host's directions. I am attaching a google map picture to show where to exist from main road to get to the house. There is a mini market in walking distance."

"Breathtaking view of the lake from this fabulous apartment. 100% would recommend. Brian is a fantastic host, responding quickly to any questions I had. Also very accommodating with requests. Beds and pillows are very comfortable too. Pool area is small but lovely with comfortable loungers and chairs. The walk down to the village is quite steep ... not so bad when walking down but hard coming back so maybe not so good for those with mobility issues. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave!"

"We enjoyed this unit for 7 nights in September 2025. The photos of the unit accurately depict its interior. However, the photos of the view from the terrace do not do it justice. The view is truly spectacular. I know that you can pay much much more for a unit on Lake Como which would not have half as nice of a view of the lake. We did not have a car during our visit, but we were able to use the ferry system each day to visit Bellagio, Menagio and Varena (our favorite) without any problem. I am 74 years old, so I was concerned about the steep walk down to the town center and ferry dock. The walk down was pleasant, but the walk back up did require me to rest a couple of times. Just before leaving on our vacation, my wife (77 years old) suffered a mobility problem, so not even the walk down was possible for her. The host family rescued our vacation, as they also operate a small livery service, which they made available to us each day for a very reasonable fee, enabling us to access the town and the ferry system. They could not have been more accommodating, answering all of our many questions prior to our arrival, as well as helping us with whatever needs we had during our visit. If Lake Como is on your bucket list, this unit is the one to rent. "
