At first it looked like it was dirty but actually it was stained, the knobs at the shower could look as new if they would clean it with a little vinegar. One wall had many stains, it needs some paint. There was some dust in a place behind the bed. All little things that need to be taken care of and the hotel would look great.

Surprisingly good
I went to this hotel because I always wanted to try it. I just thought the outside design was interesting when I saw it in the past. I did not want to go back to Andong that night because I wouldn't arrive until midnight. The room I had was as advertised bigger than most rooms in Seoul. It came with a water cooler, free soda and free bottled water. It had all essential amenities, air conditioning you can control, etc. It was pretty much perfect in that regard. I also quite enjoyed the bathroom area. The only real gripes I had were that it looked old, and the actual toilet area smelled like cigarettes. Aside from that it was one if the best hotel experiences I have had in recent memory. I will stay there again

Weird yet clean
The multi suite is a joke. A basement 2 dungeon with a fancy door amidst 2-3 stock rooms with a conference room inside the room. No ventilation or window or sunlight. Where One room can *by error*become 30 degrees while the other would be cold..because one heats by ceiling and other by floor. NObody knows how to control the temperature. After 3 people review, It comes to light that the TV remotes control the aircon with the additional device buttons. Toilet sink is with the kitchen sink! The spa suite is well designed and clean but not suitable for families. There is one door between a bathroom chamber and a toilet chamber. Both cannot be used at one time. It’s silly. It suits a couple not likely a family. Staff does not know if the room has speakers or cameras (4 of them) facing the bed, communication is a major problem. Technicians are rude to the guests. Front desk staff are kind.

Spacious room and convenient location
We had express check-in and check-out. We love our room, very spacious and artsy! It has plenty of space to move around and a huge bathroom. The hotel is just a minute walk to Sinseoldong station, very convenient to go around Seoul. Will stay again next time i visit Seoul.

Great hotel!
The suite I was staying in was huge and wonderful! There was so much space way more than 1 person would need. It had it's own separate entertainment room which was nice! The bathroom with the self cleaning toilet was amazing, the showers and jetted bathtub was amazing too. It was such a great place to staff!

So easy to get to from the subway - literally you can see the hotel for the steps of exit 4!! In house coffee shop was convenient.

Used to be clean, not anymore
Have stayed here before in one of the larger rooms with that sleeps 3. Came back because it was convenient and everything was all right. This time, however, the double room was disappointing. The room was very and smelled like smoke, and it was super noisy at night. Will stay somewhere else next time.

Although hotel is st a good location, the cleanliness is not that great. The room smells of cigarette smoke although it was a non-smoking room. Had to air the room with air freshener.

The reason I gave neutral review is because there are good and bad on the hotel. I would say the location is good because it is about 2 minutes walking distance from Sinseol-dong Station. However, there is no covered/shelter linkway to the hotel. Besides that, the windows do not have blackout curtain, but it fixed with horizontal blinds instead. Would preferred blackout curtain to block the sunlight in the morning. Hotel are equipped with high-tech all in one controlled. Aircon, lights and TV can be controlled through a single remote controlled in additional to the wall mounted light switch. Toilet/Bathroom are divided into 3 where toilet and shower at their respective partition and there is jacuzzi tub at another room. But there is no door there. Imagine that you travel with small kid. How do you enjoy jacuzzi when kid can see you naked when you want to jacuzzi?

We have a very bad experience with the hotel in the Christmas eve. The hotel representative didn't provided helpful assistant when we felt uncomfortable at the room.

The room assigned to us on the 5th floor was not quite what we expected in terms of design and the shower area is open. We requested to be transferred to another room (4th floor) which design was better and the shower room has a door to contain the splashes of water. I just noticed that they do not dust off the wall lamps and they were too visible not to notice. It was just odd that the bathroom is generously spacious and yet there is no closet. There were lots of stuff that you don't expect to find in the room like the water (hot/cold) dispenser, 2 desktops. Instead of those, I would rather that they would have provided the obvious, which is the closet, flat iron/stand. microwave.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and super helpful when I ran out of money and couldn't pay the taxi from the airport ( NEVER take a black limo cab) The hotel itself was well kept, my room was clean and bed comfortable. Each room had been styled, but my room was mainly brown, with a lino floor, which I personally didn't find attractive. I was in a room at the front of the hotel on a busy road but the double glazing worked perfectly and my room was very quiet. Food from room service was OK ( I was concerned what it would be like as they had Spam on the menu) but expensive.

Do not recommend at all.
This hotel was a terrible experience for me. The state of the rooms were horrible. There were STAINS on the sheets and blankets. There was a used toothbrush on the bathtub. The showers were broken for both rooms (we had a couple of rooms booked). They definitely do not clean everyday, as we ended up walking in during a cleaning and saw that they were finally cleaning the room and had so many dust balls that they dug out...... We were not able to shorten our reservation.....conveniently..They also will not provide more than ONE CARD per room. Additionally, it is not foreigner friendly. Everything in the hotel is Korean, which was fine for myself who can read and speak it, but not the case for my fellow travelers. I was also told by the hotel "there is nothing that says that they need to have English speaking staff at all times" so that's that. Additionally, the hotel was NOT conveniently located.

The air conditioner of the hotel is not too good for summer time. So I have it turn-on even if I leave the room, but the staff would always turn it off and open the window... which make our return on an August night very hard to look forward to.

I stayed here in the winter before and it was ok, but the Airconditioner in the summer time was just a bit not up to par. I have to keep the AC on all the time to keep the room cool, but the room service will open the window each time after cleaning which leak out all the cool air.

Hotel is just next to subway station, which is really convenient to go anywhere. The cleaniness of the room have to improved. It's quite dusty everywhere. And there is not enough place to hang my clothes and towel. But the bed is comfortable and few of the staffs was willing to help too. Price is low. Worth to stay.

The staff was very short on speaking english but did everything they could to make our stay confortable including ordering us a local meal which was difficult as our travel had us arrive very late. I loved this hotel. I would rebook this hotel in a flash! Everyone was so sweet and helpful.

Hotel just located nearby metro within 1 minutes walking distance. The room was spacisous with Art Design decoration. However, the toilet bowl would be flooding after the shower bath. That means you would get wet your food when you get into the toilet again.

First time staying at this hotel, the room is big enough for us travelling with my 16 months old baby. The cleanliness of the room is "So So" caused we found some rubbish under the bed i.e. plastic bag and paper cup and a female legging pant behind the bathtub (very funny). The hotel located nearby Dongdaemun, plenty of local Korean restaurants outside the hotel. Subway is just a few minutes, many taxi past by transportation should be no problem at all. The hotel staffs are friendly, but a bit difficult in communicating in English. The best thing is there are two computers in the room with FREE WiFi whilst we can use it to find the places of interest in Korean is really convenient

We have one night stay in Hotel Boutique 9. The hotel room has nice design! The room was really great and comfortable stay. The room was big, clean and tidy. Two computers in one room, charger for android phone, shower gel & shampoo, two bottles of waters and soft drinks were included. 3 mins to the subway. There were some restaurants and convenient stores nearby. I have ordered an American breakfast (room service) and enjoyed the breakfast at the balcony area in my room before check-out. It was very relaxing stay. We recommended couples to stay at Hotel Boutique 9 if they travel to seoul, korea.

Enjoyable stay at Korea
Our family had a wonderful stay at Hotel Boutique 9 . The room was clean, big, and cozy. Whenever we arrive from a tour , we look forward to coming back to our hotel. It's like coming home. Comfort room is clean and spacious. The veranda has another coffee table, aside from the coffee table inside our room. There's a desk top computer with fast wifi. There's a hot and cold water dispenser inside the room. It's reasonably priced and its so near convenience stores and subway station. Perfect!
