"I had checked before we arrived to be sure breakfast was available. On line it indicated that breakfast was again being served. I did not see that breakfast was not available on Tuesday."

"Web site should specify "continental" breakfast. Coffee makers in room would be most helpful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Shower and tub needed better care."

"Nice property near the schools"

"The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is really great! Our room must have had a lose pipe or vent in the wall behind the shower so it would bang on the wall alot. Once we got used to it it wasnt bad. That is my only complaint. The stay other then that was great!"

"Staff was incredibly friendly and accessible. Beautiful property, extremely comfortable bed and all around a very nice neighborhood gem. Would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling near Litchfield. We’ll be back for sure!"

"Truly a wonderful place! It’s rustic & has a few quirks but it’s very clean & comfortable. Nicely decorated. The game table is amazing! And the view is dynamite!We had a little trouble finding the house as google maps took us to the wrong place but Apple Maps is supposed to be better. This place is a gem. It’s in the country so be prepared for all that entails. All in all absolutely lovely! And the manager Katherine is great too!"

"Not a 4star property. It is all rather tired. We expected our room to be made up each day - didn’t happen. Breakfast comprised of stale pastries, sausage patties and potatoes that were barely warm and had been standing for too long. The coffee was undrinkable it was all counter service and clear your own table Not 4 star standard by any stretch of the imagination. Bed was very soft so we did not sleep well and left after breakfast today feeling nauseous "
