“a very nice place!! all things self-serve just like at home suggest buy something and cook in the house especially on Sunday ”

“Room was OK, A/C worked good which was nice. Parking in basement was a challenge, not for bigger cars for sure and you need to be able to navigate your vehicle carefully, not much room to get around. Breakfast was OK, a missed a bit of more healthy options. Friendly and helpful staff most of the time even with a few language challenges, receptionists spoke good English though.”

“Habitación limpia, grande y todo nuevo.”

“This hotel was not for us .there is no amenities at all.it’s a hikers dream though and the adjacent bar was popular for locals and bikers.we had no communication with staff as no one could speak English .the breakfast was a joke.no tv and to add insult to injury and after a long haul getting there the property owners refused to cook an evening meal .for us as we are both in our late seventies we will never re visit and feel there was not enough information on your site to reveal just where it’s……

“Very convenient location but disappointed that the wifi in the room was poor and hardly acceptable for a business visitor ! Must improve or will not choose this hotel again !”

“The bed feels like a camp bed — you can feel the springs immediately when lying down. And it costs nearly €120 per night.”

“Tudo muito bem. Apenas um reparo; o pequeno-almoço poderia ser melhor, face á qualidade do hotel, funcionarias e suas valências.”

“This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Great indoor spa facilities (we had a brilliant couples massage) and the outdoor pool is the perfect place to swim and relax with a cocktail. There are loads of nice places to sit and relax inside and outside. Staying here feels as comfortable as being at home. The breakfast is……

“Our stay at Octant Douro was easily the highlight of our trip to Portugal. We absolutely loved the hotel’s tranquil and picturesque setting along the Douro River. Our room overlooked the river, and we often found ourselves sitting in silence, simply taking in the breathtaking scenery and peaceful surroundings. The pool facilities were beautifully maintained and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. The restaurants were outstanding, and the breakfast was excellent, offering a delicious……

“Surely will visit this hotel again next time, all things are perfect. ”

“Air conditioning did not work, rooms were not so very nice, this is a 2 starvhotel at best”
