Fall get away with family

Location was great, close to attractions, but out far enough from all the hustle and bustle. We did see a bear on the last night of our stay when returning to put cabin.

Everything we wanted for our family of 4. Grill, pooltable, hottub, ect and all the amenities we needed. So many things to do in the smoky mountains and this cabin is in the perfect spot to enjoy them. Highly recommend!

Cozy feel in the woods

This was a nice property.. could use some updating and some deep cleaning.. very easy transaction with the property owners.. it was our first time renting a cabin instead of a hotel.. There were a lot of amenities there as well so we didn’t have to eat out every day..

This is a very convenient location for activities at Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider a return visit/stay at this cabin. Contacted the owner about an issue he was courteous and had a sense of urgency to resolve. Some items are older and need repair or replacement, such as the furniture located on the back deck. The resort area behind this cabin has a strong odor of sewerage.

We enjoyed our stay. Just a couple things we didn't expect. Remote in bedroom didn't work. No sheets for the couch bed. No racks on the door to the refrigerator to hold our condiments. The location was nice & quiet. Even with these unexpected issues, we still enjoyed our stay. Just be prepared.

Cabin in Pigeon Forge

I dont like saying anything negative, but this cabin is just that, a cabin. Bring everything from your house. We had to go out and buy an opener just to have wine on New Years! If you want a totally basic cabin, then this is it. I as working in cardiac surgery expected more. Location is great for Dollywood. But thats all you will get. I think they need a property manager that knows about hospitality. I have stayed in many cabins in the area, and even the most basic has more aminities. And be sure to bring curtains for the bedroom upstairs, because the light comes through very early, and wakes you up.

Great Stay at Simple Pleasures

Overall we really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is very nice and has great amenities like a hot tub and pool table. We were a little disappointed in a few things... First, the cabin needed a good dusting all over and the bathroom floors were dirty and very dusty when we arrived. It seemed like the bathroom floors hadn't been properly swept or mopped in a while... both showers also need updating. The upstairs shower head had almost no water pressure, and the downstairs shower head had too much pressure and sprayed sideways. The deck furniture needs replacing as both the table and chairs outside are breaking apart and wood is splitting. I also would suggest adding rokus to the TVs so guests can log into their Netflix, or Hulu accounts etc and stream. Other than these few things, we loved the cabin and we had an awesome vacation!

Positives- 1. Very close to Dollywood 2. Easy to get to downtown attractions 3. Washer/ dryer was great to come home with clean clothes 4. It was great we were able to bring our two dogs (less then 10 each) 5. The kids enjoyed the hot tub Negatives- 1. We prepared for our stay after reading the reviews by packing on own sheets, comforters, bowls, silverware and paper plates. But we ended up having to buy bath towels. The towels provided were extremely worn and had holes in them. We also bought bath mats since they didn’t have them either. 2. The pullout coach mattress had urine stains and we had to buy a blowup mattress for my son 3. The bathroom floor had urine/ pubic hair stuck around the toilet in the downstairs bathroom- obviously not cleaned properly 4 we ate in at night and I had to buy a glass Pyrex pan to cook one of the meals 5. The grill isn’t propane, we had to buy coals and lighter fluid to cook out 6. The cabin is out dated, but functional

Lovely Cabin with Excellent Location!

Property fit our needs overall! Really enjoyed location, separate bedrooms/bathrooms, hot tub, and old school video games! Some overall updating could be done, but overall very welcoming and clean. If you opt to bring your dog, be mindful that there are few, if any grassy areas anywhere near the property. The property is literally on the mountainside, and everything is either mountainous or asphalt. There is an area near the pool, which is good for walking your dog, but you need to walk down a good distance to get to it. We were not prepared for no grassy areas near cabin - we're from the midwest! We appreciated pets were allowed and we were very respectful of this opportunity. Also appreciated the in-unit washer dryer and dishwasher. They even left a bit of DW soap - greatly appreciated as we cooked in a bit so save money and eat healthier. Bummer note - the A/C went out on our final night there and we could not cool the cabin below 78 degrees. It was a pretty miserable final night due to the temperature. By the time the owner got back to us it was the next day. Thankfully, the windows had screens and we could at least get in some fresh air - BUT cabins are close and neighbors in LARGE cabin next door were very noisy, which we wouldn't have noticed if the windows could have been closed. Owner did not compensate us at all for last night of no A/C. We are overall pleased with having been able to stay at this well cared for property and would recommend to others!

Perfect location. Out of the chaos of Gatlinburg, but still close enough to the national park and plenty of restaurant choices. It felt like you were staying out in the woods, but yet close enough to pigeon Forge for everything you needed.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this home. We had some issues operating appliances (TVs and lights) and Tom came right over to help us out. The kitchen could use some upgrades, but since we were only making coffee, it was fine for us.
