Had a great time. Very clean and cozy getaway. The view is spectacular! The Roku is much appreciated. We were very glad to be able bring Leeloo along. A few suggestions that would have made it even better: 1) Eliminate/relocate arcade and foosball tables to reposition/level pool table for open/clear play. A 100% playable pool table is much more enjoyable than 3 overcrowded options. Also, tip-less and warped cue sticks are no good. 2) Relocate the dog run to the level area up top. Present situation is inconvenient at best... dangerous at worst. 3) Install privacy blinds on both sides of the porch. This would enhance the hot tub option. 4) Regularly use insecticide for the area up top. The "no-see-ums" are ferocious and painful.

Very cute, clean cabin in a great location. Easy enough of a drive to get to all of the touristy areas, but far enough away that it feels like a retreat. Angie was very accommodating and quick to respond to messages. We would stay here again!

End of Summee Trip

We had the best time at Hapey Place! My husband & I brought along our 2 children (10 & 14) and our 3 mini dachshunds (Oakley, Piper, & Sky). The stay was just how it was described within the VRBO listing. They even had little milk bones for the pups. My husband was able to teach my son how to play pool for the first time ever in the game room! My daughter & I enjoyed taking photos with the incredible view off of the back balcony! It was clean, fresh, & everything we hoped for! We will be back soon!

It was a cozy cabin with fooz ball table, pool table, arcade games with a lot of games on it, a jacuzzi. We and our 2 mini schnauzers loved it! Definitely will be back there in the future!

Cabin is beautiful on the inside, very clean, and many personal touches that make it feel like home and plenty of entertainment with pool table etc. Deck was nice but signs of wear and insect damage. Rocking chairs weren’t super comfy but ok. We checked out the hot tub…super clean! We didn’t use as it was 95 outside but looked great. Very private.Driveway would be fine for a small car but does not accommodate larger vehicles well. We have a Silverado pick up that we initially drove down the driveway but parked at the top for remainder of trip. Turning around in the parking area was onerous and backing in was a bit sketch as top is narrow with some erosion on edges. Would’ve been fine with a car. Dog run…only real issue for us. The dog run is on a very steep grade. We are avid backpackers…I mean very steep. Our 17 year old husky mix could not do and came close to being hurt. Our 2 yr. old Husky skidded down. There are concrete “steps” embedded in side of the hill but very difficult to walk around. We did find an awesome dog park about 5 miles away so took the dogs there a couple times per day. We ended up leaving a couple days early as loading and unloading our old dog twice a day was taking a toll on him. That being said; we would stay again but would bring a smaller vehicle and not count on use of the dog run.

Absolutely wonderful mini vacay with our 4 year old son and our two mini dachshunds. Super clean and smelled amazing when we arrived. The hot tub is a little small, but we still enjoyed it. You are about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Angie is one of the best owners we have ever rented from!! She was very prompt to answer every question we had and the cabin was everything we needed-great view, place for the doggies, hot tub and games so we hardly even went anywhere. Can't wait to stay with them again!!

Happy @Hapey Place

This was the second time we have stayed with Angie and have always had a great experience. Quiet,safe feeling but still close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Both are 15-20 minute drive without having to get on the parkway. Perfect!

Nice clean cozy small place

This is a cozy little cabin, very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The jacuzzi was perfect for 2, and we appreciated being able to bring our furbaby. I took off one star only because the game room was quite crammed and we couldn't really play a decent game of pool without banging into the wall and the foosball table. Also, one table leg was uneven and had what looked like a puppy pad crammed in it to try to make it more even. We were really looking forward to playing pool, so that was a little disappointing. I wish the mattress was a little more comfortable, but it was still very pretty and very clean. Overall, it had everything we needed, and we enjoyed our stay.

Cozy Getaway for Us and our Pup!

We recently stayed at this cabin and it worked well for our vacation-especially because we could bring our dog along! We especially appreciated that they didn’t have a weight limit on the dog listing, as we have an adult lab and sometimes have a hard time finding a place that will allow him to come along even though he is the perfect good boy. We communicated this with Angie from the beginning and have had all positive reviews with the responses and questions we had. The cabin was cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. It was tucked away in a quiet, scenic spot. We all enjoyed our stay and the amazing communication with our host.
