We love it! Will book again!

Cabin was clean, cute and plenty of space. My daughter and her friend, both 16 years old, enjoyed the game room and hot tub. She’s requested the next time we come to the mountains to stay her and bring more of her friends! It had everything you can ask for. Perfect getaway!!

Our family had a great stay. Had a lot for everyone to do, all the gaming tables, hot tub, pool, which was enjoyed by all especially when the weather wasn’t great. Peaceful location yet close enough to Pigeon Forge to be able to do some of the touristy things.

A great place and location for our Smoky Mountains family get-together

From enjoying the ambience of gentle rain while relaxing in the spa on the wrap-around porch, to room at the table for all 8 of us for meals and games, our stay was exceptional. Games in the loft were a nice diversion when we were in-between excursions. All our activities (boating, jet-skiing, swimming, river rafting, horseback riding) were within reasonable drive times. Questions for the host were answered very quickly and effectively. Only downside was the very limited closet space, but we got creative with over-the-door hooks. Great find!!

Great GetAway

Very nice cabin! The amenities are as advertised. Very clean. Be advised you are a bit away from m ain attractions. Have a plan in place and know the area before you stay. If you want a relaxing fishing trip, this is definitely the place to be. Nestled in the mountains. Foxfire (7 day pass gets ALOT of hiking and fun). Gatlinburg is 30-40 minutes out. There is a Dollar General and Food City about 20 minutes away. There is a lake to go boating or visit the lodge to drop in a line. Very quiet and secluded little hideaway.

Amenities Not Well Maintained

Ease of access, location, cleanliness was great. However, the spa was not operating properly, the pool table felt is pitted and torn, there are no tips on the pool sticks, and the air hockey has dead spots.

Nice home, but we wish we had known …

The cabin is comfortable& pleasant for a SHORT getaway. We enjoyed the game room & hot tub several times. That said, we wish we had known the following before booking our larger group for a whole week: 1. Location is VERY remote. No nearby lake access unless you have a boat or other watercraft. The boat ramp & fishing docks are really nice if you manage to find them, but aren’t walkable from the house, & there is no swimming allowed. Good fishing though. The closest beach/swimming access we found was a 30+ minute drive, as was any boat rental location. Don’t book here if you want a lake house feel. We couldn’t even see the lake. 2. The tap water is very hard & has strong chlorine taste/smell). The fridge has no filter for drinking water, so we had to buy many large water jugs for coffee, drinking water, etc. 3. The cabin sleeps eight rather comfortably, but kitchen isn’t good for many people— cooking pots/pans are small. Several basics missing like a colander and a dish drain. Tiny prep space. We also had issues with dishwasher as there was a lot of mineral buildup in the d/w drain, so it wasn’t draining well. Had to hand wash. 3. Some very excited squirrels are nesting in the ceilings & when they ran across the beam in the peak of ceiling, bits of insulation & wood fell from holes in wood planks onto our heads. Woke us from sleep. 4. Poor lighting in kitchen & master. Needs lamps. 5. Inadequate storage for longer stays. No closets, dressers or food storage available.
