We planned on using the convenience of this guest house as a quick overnight on our way around Iceland. We should have used it as an anchor point. Terrific location, interesting town, amazing hiking all around, and the room was great. The full facility, including a terrific community kitchen were modern and meticulously maintained. All cooking equipment and dining utensils are there. We should have groceried up and spent 2-3 days launching from there

Small guesthouse, was not busy during stay. Access to shared kitchen and fridge. Shower floor precariously slippery following use. Otherwise was a straight forward stay.

This was our favourite accomodation on our Ring Road journey. The place felt modern and new. The room had one double bed with a little table and chairs and fridge, and then on another level had two single beds. The pillows were the COMFIEST we had on our whole road trip! 10/10 would stay here again.

This location was very nice. The bedroom and bathroom are very large and comfortable. Easily accessible from the main road along the fjord. Driving to the town up and down the fjord has so many waterfalls that really add to the beauty.

Very comfortable and clean stay.
Medium Luna was a really nice hotel. The only issue we had is it’s down in a port area and to get there you had to go over a mountain pass that you have to drive a little slow on. Also, the weather was a little cloudy and foggy. Because our next day was a longer drive, we decided to only stay one night instead of two, but it’s not because the property it was more of the location for our purposes.

Quiet and peaceful town. The guesthouse was just the same. Good size kitchen to make a meal. Very close to a local grocery store and restaurants to grab a quick bite. Plus the drive there had such spectacular views.

The Guesthouse has nice clean rooms, and is basic. Check-in available only during posted times. Contacting the property may be a challenge. There is a small common kitchen, only tea and instant coffee offered. Milk in refrigerator.

The accommodations and location were excellent. The town is charming and I would stay here again. My only complaint is that the laundry machines were broken when we stayed. We didn’t ask about alternative solutions.

Stayed there for one night. Not a welcoming place. Very disappointing and poor accommodation, sad looking building. Not even a kettle in the room to make a coffee or tea.

Very clean, basic hotel. Walking distance to the center of town and a short waterfall trail. Shared kitchen and laundry area. Laundry was out of service the time we stayed.

Duvet covering to rough and pillow too soft. No stool to sit to remove shoe as is a requirement by the owner before entering the premises. No wardrobe or compartment to hand clothings.

We will have new and better pillows next year but there is no space for a stool in the entrance. It's also not a requirement to remove your shoes it's a request. We clean the house and hallway every day and we want it to be clean when the last guest's check-in not only when the fyrst guest arrives. Thank you for your feedback. Beautiful setting. This is set in an adorable little town. We could walk to anywhere from here. Laundry available for a fee of 1.000 ISK or a little under $10. Room was clean. Small kitchen area to share with other guests.

Nice small place, super clean with a big shared kitchen (free coffee and tea). We opted for rooms with a private bath but shared bathrooms were very clean as well. Much needed laundry available. Lovely little town with limited but good restaurant options, grocery store and can walk to everything from hotel. Lots of local hiking trails.

A fantastic little gem in an amazing fjord!!!
This is a sort of unique property... right at the edge of the ferry dock, but in the middle of the most spectacular fjord you can imagine. I stayed because after three days on a tossing ferry, I needed a day to get my land legs back before getting on a bike. So arrived very early for my booking... and in driving rain. The owner was fantastic. He let me check in early and gave me a bigger room that was already made up rather than making me wait for several hours. Livesaver. Laundry facilities... huge, spotless comfy room. Tiny hotel and more of a guesthouse. But utterly perfect. In addition, the owner and his wife are just delightful people. Young couple with a growing family, they are running a great little inn. WiFi was great. And the view... well, the view... was just awesome.
