Exactly what you’d expect from a budget hotel. Friendly staff, clean enough, perfect for a night or two on a budget. Only complaint would be I’d have liked a kettle in the room but no big deal.

Mercure Sheffield St Paul's Hotel & Spa
This hotel used to be a gem in Sheffield. No longer. Such a tired and aged hotel with ridiculously sparse rooms. I was staying in a very tired and boring suite. It didn’t even give me a bottle if water. No ornaments or decorations. Such a shame.
