「The House on Chase Creek is absolutely amazing! My husband and I are celebrating our 20th anniversary and I’ve been telling him about Shelter Island literally for almost 40 years. Well we finally made it and the trip, the home, the welcoming of my dog, was all so just so welcoming and nice. Bill, the proprietor, took great care to answer any questions and tell us about the Island. Then we enter the most immaculate room, as clean as the ritz! 「Newly Renovated and extremely clean, well kept, and inviting rooms. Staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. Location is ideally situated close to lots of shops, Goldbergs for bagels, East Hampton Beaches etc. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the area.」

「We were looking for a quick overnight in the East End, and the Harpoon House exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spacious (a suite!) and well-appointed, blending the charm of the original 1648 (!) building with modern amenities and furnishings. We didn't take advantage of the on-property restaurant (formerly Blu Mar), but the menu - by acclaimed chef Rocco DiSpirito - looked excellent, if a bit pricey. 「I had to stay one night only, for a short business trip and I am glad i found this place. I was not expecting the most luxury nor up to date hotel after reading some reviews but as long as it was clean i was satisfied. Well, i booked the small room and i was very pleased, it was immaculately clean, the sheets were super soft, and all pressed. This will be my regular place every time I need to travel to this area. I am.glad I found it and i didn't break the bank to stay in The Hamptons. 」

「Wonderful stay! There was a problem with the room we booked (things happen) but Dawn made sure we were happy in an upgraded room. Location is great, walking distance to Main Street. Breakfast was included with the option to be brought to your room. If visiting East Hampton, would definitely choose the Mill House. 」

「Rooms state of the art and recently renovated. We were in a small 1 bedroom ( we booked a few days before so none were really available) but its location is a block from the beach and had a Keira for coffee in the room . Shower was amazing.」

「Loved the space. We stayed in the suite upstairs and it was so spacious. Had a cute sitting area and it was nice and clean. One downside is the access other guests have to the balcony. Anyone can just come up the stairs and look in your windows if the curtains are not closed just right. Customer service was good and we really enjoyed the cute breakfast baskets in the morning. 」
