Very warm, comfortable cottage. Major disadvantage is lack of walking distance to shop/pub, however that compensated by the peace and quiet.

We had a lovely time at Primrose cottage and it was the perfect getaway from London for myself, partner and toddler. There was plenty of space and beautiful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed having the ponies and alpacas nearby and going for walks straight from the door. Cottage itself was comfortable, clean and well equipped. Thanks for a great stay. Had a lovely week at Primrose cottage. The cottage was excellent. Nicely furnished with a lovely private garden. It is set in a very peaceful location but within easy reach of interesting places to visit. The welcome gift of wine and biscuits from the owners was a very nice touch and much appreciated. Great place to stay but one thing to be aware of that wasn't pointed out before arriving.

Great place to stay but one thing to be aware of that wasn't pointed out before arriving. The water is softened artificially so not advisable to drink. Need to take your own bottled water. Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. Only one slight negative, the cottage does not accept pets, which is fine for our family, but then there was dog mess in the outside areas from the dogs in the main house. Lovely quiet location, lane can be very muddy in bad weather. Barn was airy, clean and relaxing, we liked the art work. There isn't an open fire as advertised, it is gas. Beds were comfortable, noise can be heard when in the double bedroom from the barn next door so not good if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise would recommend.
