"This is the most beautiful location in the area! It is family friendly with all the necessary amenities to make one feel at home. The location is perfect for a day of adventure in Door County, and yet a quiet place to return to in the evening. I didn’t use the fire pit this time but it is a highlight at the end of the day to relax and watch the sunset. Absolutely gorgeous! I am looking forward to returning in the summer. "

"Great location, the best part of the stay. It was a very quick walk to the lake and bay. The common areas were comfortable with nice couches, and the kids/teenager enjoyed the outside games.That said, we were disappointed with the property's policies and communication. We were required to purchase a mandatory 50 rental insurance policy, which is unique among all the rentals we’ve booked. This felt especially egregious after receiving a reprimanding email from the owner for accidentally leaving the non-weatherproof cornhole set out overnight an issue that should be covered by the required insurance or addressed by providing simple instructions. Furthermore, two of the three beds were old and uncomfortable and should be replaced. "

"My husband, friends, and I stayed at the Hobbit House for our wedding. It was an absolutely magical experience and we loved every second of it! The two master suites were perfect for my husband and I to get ready in; and the kitchen is HUGE which was a great hang out spot for everyone else while we were getting ready. 10/10 would recommend!"
