“Nice stay”

“Nice boutique hotel, clean and friendly staff. 4 minutes walk to karasuma line (north/south) station, and 9 minutes walk to Tozai line (west/east) station. Taxi to Kyoto station is around 12 minutes and 1500 yen. However, the neighborhood is quiet in the evening, not for shopping or dining… The hotel provides free shuttle service to Kinkakujicho-Ji temple (morning) and Arashiyama (afternoon) is a plus, if they are on your visit list. Furthermore, The school bus baker cafe is only 3 minutes……

“We are impressed by the traditional Japanese style service. Very clean and spacious. bed big and comfortable. Breakfast was good enough, not fancy with Yen 2200. Only downside that on the last day we tried to take bus 50 as suggested by staff to kyoto station, the bus was full and written no luggage allowed. We panicked as the flight schedule becomes tight. Guess the staff did not know. It was quite some work to walk to underground with our luggage. ”

“The hotel probably established over 2 decades but they renovated and keep up the maintenance in good conditions. The room is clean and cozy. The onsen and the resting lounge at the top floor are comfortable. Make me relaxed and had good sleep during my stay. One comment about the onsen is the opening time. I suggest to extend the opening hours to prevent overload visitors in the onsen. It's crowded at the night session that most of the ladies need to queue up (naked) for shower before get into……
