"Beautiful location with its own beach right out the door. The owner was very kind and spoke excellent English. He helped me sign up for excursions and I really enjoyed the breakfast and dinners with a view of the beach. Amazing part of the island and highly recommended "

"We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. "I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night. There's also lots of wildlife that can be easily seen from many areas on the property, for example frogs and coconut crabs.
