「Perfect little town for a getaway. We stayed for 3 nights and explored the area. The restaurants were great, the beaches were beautiful and the cabin was cozy to come back to. Nice and quiet, offered the right amount of privacy and the bonfire area was perfect. Highly recommend.」

「The location is just out of the main strip of munising. It’s a little too far to walk to town, but there was plenty of parking in town so this wasn’t a problem for us. The property was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our stay there!」

「We loved this super conveniently located home! The home was so comfortable for everyone and we played Cornhole every night! We walked down to the outpost for pizza and grabbed a few key items from the little station. Would definitely recommend again. 」

「This was a lovely getaway with a “middle of the woods” feel. Julie was so kind and accommodating to our request to add on an extra day. The check in process was easy and Julie’s home is nearby, so there is a strong sense of safety. She has thought of everything so the house felt well stocked and ready for guests. We would gladly stay here again!」

「We stayed 3 nights in this CLEAN, spacious, comfortable 3bdrm home with private backyard. This place is so peaceful, we enjoyed the back deck with chairs/table. We did not get to use the fire pit due to rain that night. The enclosed porch was a great alternative. The house is spacious, we hope to return with friends next time. Kitchen/bath have everything you will need. Check in was simple, all instructions were provided ahead of time and also onsite including local recommendations...

「Room was very nice, well maintained & decorated. Beds were firmer than we're used to but ours at home is pretty soft. Location is in a quiet neighborhood away from the waterfront. Would stay there again.」

「Perfect location with plenty of space for several activities. 」

「We loved the central location. The property was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The kayaks provided were a nice perk. If you use them, just beware that you need to carry them to an access point. It is almost impossible to carry them down the hill. We had an issue when we used the numbered key pad to lock the door. We could not get back in using the security code and notified the property owners who responded very quickly to our problem. The beds were very comfortable and the shower,...

「This cottage was great for our family. It is located right on the river bank in a quiet area. The living room and kitchen were roomy, and the bedrooms plenty big.It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, and paper products.The outside area was great for sitting as a group, having an evening around the fire pit, or sticking your feet in the river. We had paddle boarders and swimmers with us that took advantage of being riverside. Nobody brought a fishing pole, so I don’t know about fishing...

The property owner/manager were wonderful and super kind & helpful.Would definitely stay again if in the area. 」

Beautiful drive through the forest to get to Munising for groceries, restaurants etc. Highly recommend staying here!」

「We had a terrific stay at Anna’s Place. It was clean and comfy. Would totally stay there again. The city was repairing the road so the trip into Munising was blocked which made the drive into town 8-9 minutes longer. There is a small stream next to the house and across the road a place to take a short walk to Lake Superior. Some in our group walked there to bird watch and star gaze at night.」

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
