“Fantastic property. Esther was such a wonderful host. Really thoughtful and welcoming, and the pictures she's painted for the property are lovely. We really liked the spacious living and dining areas. And we all slept comfortably in the beds. House was lovely and clean. I didn't get check in instructions in advance which was a bit nerve wracking. The company appointed to manage the letting weren't especially responsive. But Esther was there waiting for me and gave us everything we needed.……

“Clean and comfy. We stayed in a family room. Some discrepancies between what we booked on Expedia and what was sent through to the hotel, but was sorted by email and phone call in advance. Warm welcome and THE most amazing dairy free, gluten free complimentary brownies I've ever tasted. The room was lovely and just what we needed for a one night stop to break up a longer journey. Only slight issue was the noise from something the other side of the bedroom wall (some sort of low level……

“We liked everything. Fiona and Steve are delightful and friendly hosts. This old building is full of character and is beautifully decorated. Our en-suite room had a very comfortable bed and lovely views of the village. Their breakfasts were amazing which a five star hotel would have trouble matching. On-street parking was readily available in a nearby residential road during our stay. We were happy to leave our car there. If we are back again in this part of Devon/Dorset we wouldn’t dream of……
