Hotel was conveniently located and the staff was very helpful. The view lounge and rooms were very nice. The breakfast and dinner at the hotel were ridiculously expensive compared to surrounding restaurants. Also the hotel pool was not in use.

Impeccable. Stay more than one night!
Loved this hotel. Great position overlooking the beach. Service was impeccable. Top floor baths with views and water sprayed on windows to clear foggy glass to enjoy view more. Japanese style room very comfortable. Wonderful Thann products. Wish we'd stayed longer.

Very good view and the location is closed to the onsen street. Nice hotel and very friendliness staff compare with other western Marriott hotel. I remember that the staff is helpful to take care us , e.g. when I cannot go in my room, serve us with smile and respectful, help us to call the taxi because we dont know Japanese, offer bicycle and very detailed facility.they show their professional even they are not very familiar with English. But the fitness is small and the pool is not very clean, also the laundry is not clean as well.

The staff were so delightful and helpful, they made our stay so memorable. Having laundry facilities (coin operated washer and dryer) was really useful and cost saving for families when compared to other hotel’s exorbitant laundry costs. The Onsen on the top floor of the hotel was amazing. Super clean hotel with a great pool for the family. Food was amazing. Great hotel.

The hotel is generally high class with quality. My only convenience is that the hotel is on hill so it's pretty tired to climb if you have no car. Surrounding area also has no restaurant or convenience store. If you are lazy to go down hill and climb up, you have to stick to upper prize hotel restaurant (but their food is really delicious).

Great hotel by Shirahama beach
We stayed at this hotel for one night. We chose it for its close location close to the beach and we were not disappointed! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the food was delicious - it was definitely one of the best breakfast we have eaten in a hotel in Japan (in over 7 years). Highly recommended!

Staff was polite and helpful. Facilities were new. Location prime, 2mins walk to the beach. Bikes were available for rental at 500yen for 3hrs, easy reach to the plateau and cliff

Best stay on our Japan trip by far.
This was the best hotel of my entire trip, Shirahama is gorgeous and this hotel stands as a gem or at least that's how our experience was with it. Staff was friendly, very approachable, room was immaculate, and the most comfortable of all the stays I had on my trip. The hot bath and view were killer and the local food was freshly caught and presented with pride, we paid a little more for this place and our experience, but let me tell you it was worth every penny and I am never going to forget this place.
