“Everything was great. When we checked in we were advised where breakfast was available and where we could get dinner, it was seamless and great. Room was comfy and access to highway easy on our way out of town.”

“The location was walking distance to the shopping centre and to the town centre. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Fridge leaked through a seal that needs to be replaced and the hotel not as modern as some but for a good bed close to CBD highly recommend ”

“We had a large spacious suite with an extensive balcony area. The staff were very nice and an issue with a tripped fuse was fixed quickly. However over the six nights the room was serviced once and we had to ask for supplies.”

“We stayed here with our work crew and booked 5 rooms. The motel is in a nice and quiet location. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are great and take pride in the motel, which really shows. All our guys were very pleased - so it's definitely a motel I'd highly recommend. When we're in Mackay next we'll be back to Shakespeare Motel for sure. ”
