「Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink.」

「Great place to get away for a quiet stay. Beautiful views of the water and especially at sunset. Lancaster is accessible for fun outings or activities.」

「The property was beautiful and so large. Plenty of space for our party of 8 to spread out and enjoy time alone or with each other. Two refrigerators allowed us to stock up and cook in the house. We enjoyed nights at the fire pit and morning coffee on the front porch. Loved this house!」

It was the perfect house for us with spaces to gather and not feel cramped. Our group had a 7 yr old and the rest were 27 to 81. 「The property managers were very polite and attentive, and carry a small basket with additional pamphlets for more ideas for travel in case you're itching to go out more! But, the house itself meets the perfect blend of modernization while still keeping it's original comfortable decor! Me and my girlfriend spent 4 days here, but you need to spend more to get the fullest joys of this beautiful property as well the enjoying the Lancaster area itself! 「This property took my booking and then waited until my family and I were out front to tell us they could not accommodate us. We had flown in and on Saturday evening told me they wanted us to wait until Monday. They left us without a place to stay for the week with absolutely no notice. The house from the exterior looked to be in very poor condition with trash full and an unkept yard. The host was very defensive and unresponsive.」
