“Großzügige Unterkunft, tolle Lage, leider aber lieblos gestaltet. Türgriffe defekt, Beleuchtung (Helligkeit) naja, Badewanne mit Duschvorhang (geeignet für die Produktion eines Badesees :/ )….. aber im Großen und Ganzen ok”

“We selected Siena as our starting point for our hike on the via francigenia to Roma. This was a great property for us to acclimate to Italy. We had a bit of a walk to get down into the city but it was great to prep us for our long pilgrimage. We got see a Palio race and it was great time to be in Siena. The accommodations were spectacular. The weather was hot but the ceiling fans on high kept us cool at night and we slept well. Thanks for making our via francigenia starting point so wonderful. ”

It was nice to see the pictures in Vrbo reflected the exact mixture of old and new decor.It is close to the center of town, with the Piazza del Campo and Duomo a short walk away. Many ristorante and gelateria nearby.I was able to practice my Italian while communicating with Luigi. His responses were quick and informative. Eduardo kept in contact on our arrival date and warmly welcomed usIt has been thirty-two since I was last here. Era……

Having coffee in the morning, watching the fog lift over the valley, then closing the day with a nightcap and the company of the full moon over the church created a dream state in which we enjoyed our days in Siena. ”
