Lovely La Coperta Ricamata
We loved La Coperta Ricamata. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and we enjoyed the lovely breakfast. Our host was so helpful. The property is located a short walk from the centre of Siena. I would very happily stay here again.

Charming bed and breakfast, conveniently located on a peaceful side street within walking distance of both the train station and the historic center of Siena. The room was very clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Lucia was a wonderful host, friendly and helpful! The breakfast every morning was great. Highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Siena, would stay there again!

When we check in they had an issue with Wi-Fi so we had NO SERVICE for our total stay. We were on the second floor with NO ELEVATOR. They were not in a good area and close to the major activities

Excellent bed and breakfast very close to the bus station, 10 minutes' walk from the rail station and within easy walking distance to the sights. Luciana could not have been more helpful and friendly. Great room, one of which had a lovely balcony

Had everything I needed in a quiet location that is a 15-20 minute walk from the station and from major tourist sites. Luciana is a one woman superwoman doing everything to take care of her guests.

Serene, convenient location
A quiet oasis to return to each night! A lovely hostess provides a nice breakfast each morning. Quiet, private, relaxing and very conveniently located within 10 minute walking to all major sites. Wonderful place to stay! Would highly recommend

Great location for walking around Siena. Ten minute walk to Piazza del Campo and fifteen minute walk to Duomo. Owner was very helpful and the suite was clean, a great size and provided a wonderful place to stay for a week. Would love to go back again.

Beautiful room. Close to transport.
It was a peaceful area close to everything and near the bus station and train. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished. Lovely shower and nice breakfast. The owner is lovely.

Lovely B n B minutes from the city walls
This was the nicest place we stayed during our three weeks in Italy. We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the garden. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Easy walk to the city walls.

Siena stop
We started a smaller town drive through northern Italy after an event in Florence and stopped in Siena after a visit to San Gimignano during the morning. Like most, we parked our car just outside the city walls and we were happy to find a welcome from our hostess at the hotel door close by. Warmly she invited us into her beautiful place, of art, marble and stucco. The guest rooms were spacious and breakfast was set out in a shared area just outside the rooms. We were given advise on things to see for a quick visit and places for free parking overnight, which was very helpful. It was a wonderful, but brief accommodation yet quite enjoyable.

The Ricamata was a very pleasant stay for our five days in Siena. It was clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. It is conveniently located half way between the old town/Bus Station and the train station. After a busy day of seeing Siena and the surrounding area we could go back to this peaceful abode and comfortably relax.

Serenity in Siena
La Coperta Ricamata is ideally situated just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Siena and the bus station. We spent a week there and enjoyed the traffic free walking streets as well as access to the beautiful Tuscany region with day trips to Florence, San Gimingnano, and the Cinque Terre. Luciana, the proprietor gave us a warm welcome and used her limited English to point out the main features of interest of this medieval town on a map to follow, and assisted us with arranging some early morning taxi services.

Beautiful B&B!
We had a wonderful room with French doors to a private balcony. We also had an ensuite bathroom. Luciana provided us with a map and gave us directions to places we wanted to see. The location is great - close to the train station and all the main attractions. It was very clean and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

A good choice - walking distance from train station, near a park. Some traffic noise. Nice check-in experience, and they gave us an early breakfast option (croissants) and access to the kitchen because we had an early train. Recommended.

Quintessentially Tuscan B&B - Quiet, cosy room in Siena
Stayed for a lovely two nights during a visit to Siena. The owner Luciana was helpful and friendly upon our arrival, and very clear in helping us settle into our room and the city - despite her apology for not speaking English particularly well, she did a great job! The room itself was emaculate and very cosy, with good A/C and internet, along with good en suite bathroom facilities. We were also lucky enough to be given a room with a balcony, which provided us with a lovely space to eat breakfast! Breakfast was quite a simple buffet, but did the job, and was nice to be able to help ourselves and eat in the privacy of our room, and there was plenty to choose from. Grazie, Luciana! :)

Lovely place to stay. Only a short walk from Il Campo and very near to the bus station. The room was clean and very nice. Luciana is an excellent host. Take her recommendations for restaurants and sights to visit. Luciana even came out to check as I was heading out into a thunderstorm that I had an umbrella!

Lovely quiet place set back from the street. Nice hosts, comfortable bed and good sized room. Breakfast was adequate, but I don't like breakfast anyway. It was a bit of a walk to the main tourist area, but convenient to the bus station.

Very lovely B&B. The room was very large and comfortable, plenty of room for two people. Our room even had a balcony overlooking the courtyard. Good size bathroom. Good location only 15min walk to centre of town. 15 - 20 min walk to train station. Breakfast was the only disappointment - fine, but basic. Luciana was nice and helpful in giving us information about the town.

Lovely location, very comfortable. The owner of this B&B is very gracious and is quite helpful upon arrival/check-in with finding points of interest. The room and bathroom were quite spacious--especially for the price. Breakfast was very minimal and Italian (basically coffee and bread--probably too much to ask for espresso, etc), but better coffee, etc. is just a short walk away. Over all I highly recommend over another regular hotel.

Good Location and Value for Money
Hotel is located about 15 minutes from the main square and five minutes from the intercity bus station. It is best to take a taxi from the train station to the hotel as Sienna is quite hilly. The owner was very friendly and pointed out the major sights to visit and some decent restaurants. The room was large, well appointed and on the second floor, however there was no elevator as is quite common in the smaller facilities. Breakfast was standard continental and was eaten in the privacy of our room as was the practice here. Sienna is a great location for visiting some smaller centres such as San Gimignano and Chianti country.

Fantastic stay.
Travelling as a family of four. Booked the quad room which was a one bedroom with separate sofa bed and a small kitchen. Beautiful. The place was immaculately clean. A quiet oasis surrounded by its own garden, set back from the main road. Very spacious unit with good air conditioning and powered roller shutters for the skylights. Luciana was lovely and gracious. We had a full kitchen and Luciana dropped off a tray of pastries every morning just outside our door. She had juice, water, teas and yogurt in the fridge when we arrived. One of the nicest places that we stayed in Italy. Highly recommended. Just a 10 minute walk from the bus terminal.

This is a lovely place to stay, not right in the centre but only a ten minute walk, with plenty of cafes nearby. Luciana was very helpful and the room had everything needed. It is also quiet as is set back from the road with a nice outlook on trees. Self service breakfast is convenient.

Wonderful b&b in central Siena
Luciana is the fantastic host of the b&b, and the location couldn't be better. We walked everywhere from here, and it's less than 5 minutes walk from the gramsci bus station. The bedroom was large with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage for all our stuff, with a clean bathroom and nice view of the town. Breakfast is included and was basic but good, and Luciana is helpful with dining and site recommendations, as well as a map. Overall, a wonderful experience.

In early April we spent 6 nights at La Coperta Ricamata while exploring Siena and the surrounding area. It was perfect. The room was huge with 2 big windows. The king bed was extremely comfortable with a nice duvet. The bathroom was well equipped and included a hair dryer. When we were there the nights were still cool, and the heated towel rack was lovely. Breakfast was good...always juice, cereal, yogurt, pastries and coffee. The location for us was perfect...a short walk to Il Campo or the bus terminal. The city bus went right past the entrance, so getting to the train station was also very convenient. I would definitely recommend Luciana's B&B!

No WIFI !!!! Only place I've stayed in Europe without any Internet not acceptable in this standard of B&B If they made an effort to rectify the bad this could be one of the best B&B in the area

La Coperta Ricamata was very quiet, very clean, and in a great location. It is within the walls of Siena, and a short walk to the center of town. Luciana, the proprietor of the B&B, keeps to herself, but she is incredibly sweet if you engage her in conversation. She was very accommodating to us, and even went out of her way and offered to drive us to the train station because we were planning to walk and it was raining. The decor isn't fancy, but our room had lovely windows that opened into a garden, and a nice, apparently recently renovated, bathroom. We were very pleased overall.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Luciana was a wonderful host. She help in so many ways: what to see, where to eat, where to park, etc. The hotel is set back from the road so there is almost no traffic noise (the occasional siren). It is within walking distance of everything. The shower is big enough for one. The room was big enough and very clean. The queen size bed is actually two twins pushed together. Breakfast is good (no hot breakfast) but the selection is good for Italian style i.e., rolls, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, milk, cereal. There is no parking on-site: you can park one street over free of charge. Be careful, there is a street cleaning schedule and you cannot be parked on the street when it is cleaned: your car will be towed. Overall - a great experience. Ask for the room with a balcony and have your morning coffee or evening drink on the balcony. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

This hotel is convenient to walk with your bags to a main bus stop. Unfortunately, when you first arrive, it will be hard to find the right bus stop - and you definitely don't want to walk up here from the train station, so you might have to take a taxi. The owner went out of her way to help us with finding good restaurants, planning our future transportation, etc. There was no wifi. The room was quite large and overlooked other houses - they are medieval houses, so they are still pleasant to view. The bathroom was very clean and quite modern for Italy. The bed was typical of what we found in Italy - extremely hard, like a lawn chair, with two beds pushed up against each other for the married couple. Sienna is a gorgeous town to visit and this was definitely an affordable place to stay and an easy walk into the city.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room is clean, spacious and very comfortable; a very good breakfast was also served. The owner Luciana pays attention to a lot of details, any visitor can tell that she well thought through her design for the room in many neat ways. We definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely stay at LA Coperata Ricamata.The B and B is in an excellent location to tourist attractions and being within the city walls everything was in walking distance.Our host,Luciana was most helpful and kind, even making us an afternoon cup of tea.Nothing was too much trouble for her.

First of all we will like to thank Luchiana for making our stay so pleasant. Location of hotel is good for roaming in siena. The price is low and our hostess luchiana was most helpful and very warm in welcoming. Rooms were very clean, amenities were standard. Overall the place makes you feel royal.

Fabulous B&B in Siena
We spent two nights here on a 17 day trip through Italy and it was the nicest stay of the trip. My wife, on her first Italian vacation, felt like a Contessa in her villa, opening the large windows onto her patio and garden. Just fabulous, a large room completely updated and with a large bathroom as well. Luciana was fabulous and the location is excellent, a short walk to the Campo and other sites in Siena. The room was clean and comfortable and the morning breakfast simple yet fresh and tasty, provided just outside the rooms. A quiet location as well, I would recommend La Coperta without hesitation to anyone visiting Siena and when we revisit Italy, we'll be sure to stay here again.
