Belvedere was a perfect choice for our first trip to Tuscany! The location is lovely, the farmhouse is comfortable, well equipped, and exactly like the pictures. The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions, and in getting us set up for amazing dinners made by Kati. You must experience her wood fired pizzas! Pia is also a very experienced and extremely knowledgeable guide. And the views are simply gorgeous!

This property is beautiful from its exterior to interior. The views are gorgeous. The kitchen is very well appointed and has every appliance one could need, pots and pans, dishes silverware etc. The hosts are super attentive and responsive. We had a very minor repair that was needed and our hosts sent Lucas over right away to fix it. The laundry facilities were easy to use even if you don’t speak Italian. One comment I would add if your group includes anyone elderly: one of the three bathrooms had some steep stairs which an older person (and perhaps a young child) should avoid. We solved this issue by giving the room with this bathroom to younger members of our otherwise post-aged 65 group. All in all? I highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The farmhouse was such a treat! We felt we were living the true Tuscany experience, especially with views from every window that were mesmerizing. The house was comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and it was so nice have access to a washer/dryer. The host was always friendly and quick to reply. She even had someone bring us an outdoor grill so we could cook steaks at the farmhouse one night. Our only complaint was not having enough places to eat near us, but that had nothing to do with this wonderful property.

Absolutely Breathtaking Views

We just spent 7 days in Tuscany with our friends, and it was spectacular. The Belvedere Farmhouse was the perfect spot for 4 of us, but with a third bedroom we could easily have had 6 people. The house is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the views are indescribable. The photos on VRBO don’t do this beauty justice. It’s much prettier in person. The communication was great. I highly recommend you hire Kati for cooking and a pasta making class!

Beautiful Tuscan farmhouse in Siena

This farmhouse was beautifully decorated and very well-appointed with all the amenities we needed for our stay in Siena. The views were spectacular and the property lovely for sitting outside sipping wine and enjoying our time with family. It was quiet and very clean. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely love to stay here again.

Fantastic farmhouse

We absolutely loved staying at Belvedere! It’s beautiful with stunning views from every window! Our welcome dinner of a pizza party with Kati was so much fun and delicious! The location is perfect- just outside of Siena. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Under the Tuscan Sun

This is a beautiful place with amazing views. Lots of room for ourselves and our adult children. It was a nice retreat Just wish we could have stayed longer to really relax. We opted for the pizza part with Kati. Kati was lovely and her pizza was amazing. Thank you!

Awesome stay in Tuscany

If you are going to Siena and Tuscany, this property is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful house surrounded by beautiful views of the countryside. It has everything you need for your stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful. And don’t forget to have Kati prepare a meal for you as an option they provide. It was wonderful. We had an amazing time and are taking away even more amazing memories of this property and our time in Tuscany.

Beautiful Tuscan Farmhouse

This is a very special house - we couldn't have been happier with it! Communication with the host was great, the house is a step into another, beautiful life. There are views of the Tuscan hills and Siena and cozy beds to sleep in. Can't wait to return!

Tuscany farmhouse

6 of us stayed at the farmhouse. We used it as a base to enjoy the many cities in Tuscany. We even had Kati cook us a wonderful 4 course meal on our last night. We also used a guide suggested by Carola. Pia was great. She gave us a 4 hr tour of Siena and an all day wine tour of 3 wineries. If we ever come back to Tuscany, we will rent teh farmhouse again. Thanks Carola and Adam for your hospitality. Sorry about setting off the alarm. Note to self, read all of the directions. LOL. Thanks, Steve, Cathy, Mark, Alana, Steve, and Val.

Treasure in Tuscany

We were looking for a traditional Tuscany residence and we found that and more at Belvedere. Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer. The fact that we were able to get to know Katy while she made us an amazing homemade welcome dinner and Pia while she shared her knowledge and positive energy as our Siena tour guide made Belvedere the highlight of our Italy experience. Thank you Carola and Adam for sharing your treasure with us. We appreciated your communication which made our first time in Italy magnificent.

A Little Bit of Heaven in Tuscany

This charming villa near Siena was the perfect setting for our long-awaited return to Tuscany. Every morning we awoke to beautiful views of the countryside with small villages dotting the landscape, pheasants roaming the adjacent olive grove and the gorgeous blue sky. Although the kitchen may look small in the pictures, it was perfectly adequate for prepping meals and includes a convenient dishwasher. Owners Carola & Adam were quickly responsive to inquiries. And the bonus of tour guide, Pia, living downstairs was a welcome addition. Her tour with us of Siena was spectacular & truly "went beneath the surface"! We had personal chef, Kati, cook 3 wonderful meals during our 10 day stay - you don't want to miss this! She was so much fun & her meals were better than we had in any restaurant. We can't wait to come back again!

Heaven in Tuscany

This place was the highlight of our trip to Italy. It was everything we wanted. The view from every window is like a painting. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious to hang out in for some private time. We ate many of our meals on the wonderful terrace outside. Pia, a tourist guide, lives downstairs. We hired her for tours with excellent results. Kati, a chef, can be hired to cook dinner for you or teach a cooking class. That was delicious. The kitchen has the equipment you need. Each person in our group wants to return to this place. We highly recommend it.

A dream of a week at Belvedere farmhouse

I’ll get straight to the point: all the glowing reviews of this property are deserved. 1) The home is very comfortable, charming and well-equipped. 2) The location is spectacular. We couldn’t get enough of the views out the second story windows, the changing light throughout the day highlighting the beauty of the surroundings. 3) The adjunctive optional guide, Pia, and Italian chef, Kati, added so much to the experience. Pia expressed it best: Kati is a force of nature, yet sweet, calm and so, so skilled. If Kati ran a restaurant, it would certainly earn Michelin status. And Pia couldn’t do enough for us. We employed her as our guide through San Gimignano and are quite glad we did. She provides so much extemporaneous humor during her tour as well as a deep history of the town itself. I will be recommending this place to all our family and friends and hope to return to Belvedere one day again soon.

Just Perfect

This is the second time we have stayed at Belvedere. We loved it the first time, and loved it even more the second. Belvedere can be used as a place to relax, and as a base for exploration. In both respects it is just perfect. What do I love most about it? Without doubt, the stunning view from the kitchen window every time I open the shutters in the morning. The property is spacious and very well-equipped. The bedrooms are comfortable, each with en-suite facilities. The main living area makes you feel very much at home. The kitchen has every piece of equipment you could reasonably wish for. Outside, there is a wonderful terrace area: ideal for breakfast and evening meals. I can recommend without reservation. We will definitely think about visiting again in a future year.

Tuscany Immersion & Delight

We had a wonderful stay at the Belvedere Farmhouse at the end of September. It was a charming home exactly as pictured. The views around the property are absolutely spectacular. We were two couples so the 3 bedrooms, 3 bath home was more space than we needed but an extra bath comes in handy, beds were great and appreciated the laundry facilities. Luckily the weather was absolutely perfect. Nice cool nights!! No need for air conditioning. We did have the pleasure of having Miss Katy cook 3 meals for us. It was absolutely wonderful and the best Italian food we have ever had. Miss Katy is an absolute delight!! Highlight of our stay at Belvedere. Pia who also lives at the property and works as a tour guide, took us on a great tour of Siena and to an olive oil processing tour near San Gimignano. We also had a tour of the Villa and were able to see some of the winery activities on the property and purchase some of the wine. We wanted an immersion experience, we got it and enjoyed all the time we spent at Belvedere..

Peaceful and serene Tuscany setting

Our stay at Belvedere far surpassed our expectations. The property is situated in a private, tranquil location with stunning views, only minutes from Siena. The house itself is authentic, rustic, magnificence that made us feel as though we had stepped back in time. Each morning, I looked forward to opening the heavy-duty window shutters to let the sun roll into the house and then wander outside with a cup of coffee to sit on the terrace and enjoy the gentle breeze and views. It’s a magical place. The furnishings in the house are comfortable and understated, perfect for a family gathering. In keeping with the authenticity of its era, the house does not have ac, so the house did get a little warm at times after hot showers, drying hair, or cooking. We, generally, stayed quite comfortable though with open windows and the bedroom overhead fan. As noted in the house guestbook, it’s fairly easy to trip the electrical switch. Our power went out when using a hairdryer and dishwasher at the same time. It’s quick and easy to reset the power switch, but just know to use only one electrical appliance at a time. Do yourself a favor and book at least one night of Kati’s catered dinner on the outdoor terrace. The food is amazing, as is Kati. We only regret that we didn’t book her dinner every night! Also, our breakfast sweet breads prepared by Pia were such a treat! Thanks to C&A for being such incredible, helpful and responsive hosts. We hope to visit again!
