Great location and beautiful villa!

Our host was truly amazing—thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay comfortably! The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk to Siesta beach. The villa was absolutely beautiful and huge. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need for cooking. Complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas are provided, which was a great touch. The pool was warm and clean. Grill is also available for guests to use when enjoying the beautiful patio. We are planning to come back!

Fun, fun, fun

First time to stay so close to the beach. Everyone said it was so nice to be able to come and go all day. The wagon and chairs were well used. Elevator came in handy in loading and unloading the car, otherwise, we used the stairs. Loved being able to see the beach from the balcony with my cup of coffee. Any questions we had were quickly answered during our stay :)

Gem in Siesta Keys

Had a great stay at Gertrude rentals. Literally one block from the beach! Walk to town. Lots to do. Could not be happier. The house was immaculate and plenty of space for all of us. Thank you for making our stay wonderful.

Perfect beach get away

The description of the property was perfect. Once you park, no need to use your car again. Plenty of beach gear to use, free trolly system, and it really was about 150 steps to the beach. We had a perfect time.

Fantastic House and Location

This house was just as described—clean, modern, and very close to the beach. We had two teenagers with us, and the short, safe walk to the beach was a big plus. Located directly across from beach access #11, we had no trouble finding a great spot on the sand—it never felt crowded. We had a blast exploring the neighborhood on the provided bikes, and loved the location—far enough from the main strip to feel separate, but close enough for a brisk walk. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen appeared well-stocked. There were plenty of beach chairs, towels, and even a wagon, which made getting everything to the beach super easy. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful, with excellent communication before, during, and after our stay. We would definitely stay at another Gertrude property in the future.

Good stay

The location was great. Not directly on the beach but across a small street. Also, nice and close to the villages, they have a shuttle to take you or you can walk like we did even with kids it's not a bad walk at all. The only cons are that the pool is extremely small we were not able to use it so that was a little misleading and when we stayed the mosquitoes and bugs were out of this world bad. It rained every night we were there and it floods the first floor where the patio seating is and it becomes standing water that bugs love so that was a big con for us. We each have about 50 bites (no exaggeration). Would be helpful if they looked into a better way to drain water outside so we could have used the first floor seating. Otherwise, owner is VERY responsive he answered all my questions very quickly and offered to help with what he could.

Nice relaxing stay

Overall a great stay with excellent customer service. A few minor things needed repair, but still recommend. We will for sure consider Gertrude for our next trip!

Family Vacation

We booked this location so that we would be close to the beach. 150 steps gets you to the edge leading to the beach. We had someone with us that had difficulty walking so it was not as close as we had hoped. The beach and location is beautiful though, so if you can walk the extra steps will worth the walk. The beach did have a beach wheelchair available so we utilized that. The condo had a lot of beach chairs and toys available.

Siesta dream getaway

The property and the views are absolutely amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. The owner was absolutely amazing and extremely accommodating. 100%, would stay here again.

This property was so perfect for our beach vacation! They had everything and more we needed for the beach. It was so easy to check and and checkout. We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Siesta Key!

Family Getaway

The Hoppy Beach house was just as it was described. The house was in a perfect centralized location, it was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The golf cart was a big bonus for exploring and going to dinner. Would definitely recommend this vacation spot!

This place was amazing! It worked out wonderfully for our family! Everything you could possibly imagine was provided. We did not have to pack any sand/beach stuff. The house was sooo comfortable and clean. I would give this a 10 star review! Super easy access to the beach!

Spring Break

We hosted Spring Break for our daughter and several of her friends. We loved this location. We were in the middle of everything—the walk to the village was so easy, we were only steps to the beach, and the place was clean and spacious. We will definitely be back!

Siesta Key Long Weekend

We rented Gertrude 3BR home for 5 nights. I have to say, the house rental was completely spectacular. Very clean and well appointed with amenities. The best part was all the beach gear and wagons to be able to set up at the short walk to the beach. The shared pool with the home next door was great also. I would highly recommend Gertrude rentals and highly recommend Siesta Key as a destination.
