Great Host, Perfect Location

Our host was super responsive before and during our stay. The house and location were perfect for us, in a quiet neighborhood but close to the beach and village.

Great easy stay

The house was super cute, looked just like all the photos! Location couldn't have been better, 2min drive to siesta key village (a fairly doable 10min walk) and also less than 5min drive to more populated city for groceries, food, coffee. The house had plenty of beach towels for all the guests and tons of beach stuff including a cart which was SO helpful for all our beach gear and coolers. The best part of the stay was check out, it was so easy and didn't make you clean the entire house before checkout. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Siesta Key Oasis

Property was perfect for us and our pet. Longtime SK residents that had to evacuate after our property flooded. The rental managers were awesome, accommodates us with all our needs. The property itself was perfect and as advertised.

Great Location

we had a great say in siesta key with our 3 teenage boys. The house was clean and close to town and an easy bike ride or walk to get to town. Would have appreciated more toiletries (other than hand soap) etc similar to other rentals where there are typically bath towels, shampoo etc. Beach towels and chairs were definitely a plus.

Fantastically Located and well stocked for the beach

Couldn't really ask for a better location, close to the village with restaurants, bars, and ice cream shops. Walking distance (.8) mile to the beach. Towels, a wagon, chairs, umbrellas all well maintained and ready to take to the beach. Bring some WD40 for the metal bunk beds, as they're very squeaky, and everything but oil and coffee for the kitchen, and you'll be golden for a great stay.

Great rental!

The rental property manager was very nice and helpful. We were able to walk to siesta village where there were many restaurants and shops. We could also walk to the beach but took our car because of all of the gear. There were other options for getting around including a trolley and golf carts

Siesta Review

This was a beautiful property, me and my two daughters stayed but there was ample room for 10-12 comfortably. The house was clean and all the extra beach supplies were provided. We rented a car for the trip, I would recommend that or renting a golf cart during your stay as it is about a mile to mile and a half walk to the beach access. There were two separate outside seating areas and a grill to use as well. Wen ended up making friends with a family of bunnies and some little lizards in the side outside seating area.

Excellent Location

The property is great for multiple couples or families with children. We met our adult son there for a five day mini vacation. There is plenty of room to move around in the house. There are two full bathrooms and a half bath which was very nice surprise. Everything is well maintained and cleaned. I rarely recommend a property but this one is very good for your stay in Siesta Key. The beaches are amazing. Everything is within walking distance. We will rent this place again. Love it.

Overall a nice place. The furniture needs updated, however the place was very clean, well stocked with towels, etc. apparently we misread the distance to the ocean. There is a small alley way that you can see the ocean from but no access to it . The actual ocean access is roughly a mile away. At our age( knee and back surgery in the last year) we weren’t able to walk that distance. The actual Siesta Key beach is amazingly beautiful but a ten minute drive, however to find a parking spot was next to impossible. We found the town to be a party town not family friendly.

Fiesta in Siesta

Five girlfriends and I stayed here to celebrate a 40th birthday. It was affordable and in a quiet neighborhood just outside the main strip. Questions were promptly answered whenever I emailed and will certainly consider Gertrude Rentals at their other locations. Recommendations for the house would be a full-length mirror somewhere, pump soaps instead of hand soap, and some hotter water for sinks. Showers were fine for temps, but washing dishes, hands, and faces were done with cool water. All quick fixes but didn’t impact the stay and just some preferences for a group of women.

Family Gathering

This home is truly lovely. Very close to beaches, great restaurants.When you first enter the house, You feel like you’re at home. Would highly recommend this home for a family gathering. Children and adults. Kitchen has everything you need, was a delight to have bikes & beach towels. Beds are very comfortable nice furnishings. I give this home 5 stars.
