「We drove up from Portland and although the drive wasn't long it really felt like we were out in the country. The atmosphere was relaxing and cozy. The hosts were informative, friendly and unobtrusive. I think staying 2 nights would have been even better than our 1.」

「It was very spacious and peaceful. They supplied us with eggs from their free range chickens which was nice for breakfast. We had a party of 7 with 4 adults and 3 children and we all slept well there. It's also nice having two bathrooms with showers. 」

「My family stayed over Thanksgiving break. There was a window of fantastic weather with clear skies. We would start the day with coffee on the porch, watching the ducks play in the lake. Then we daytripped to Portland to hike. We drove up towards the mountains for breathtaking views of Mt Ranier and Mt St Helens. Then we would come back and cuddle up by the fireplace. Kara's home feels just like that - home. We would love to go back there next winter, or even during the summer to enjoy the lake....

「We had my daughter's wedding ceremony at Rainier Estates Sept 3! Deepa was so gracious to allow the 19 of us to enjoy this special day for our daughter and her new husband! My immediate family stayed at this Place while the others found suitable places nearby. The backdrop of the mountain was perfect for the outdoor ceremony.
