Great place to Stay in Silverton
Stayed a few nights with spouse and doggo and could not ask for a better place to stay in Silverton. Walking distance to anywhere!! Accommodates a lot of people if you use all the beds (although a single bathroom may present a problem if too many people stay). We just stayed in one bed and truly enjoyed Silverton and our stay! If we return, we plan to stay here again!

Great house in great location
Great spot- tons of space and centrally located in the town. Awesome house for solo stays or a large group looking to enjoy all that Silverton has to offer. This will definitely be my primary go-to when staying in Silverton.

Amazing stay
This house is PERFECT for a ski trip with friends. Everyone slept very comfortably (we had 8) and I believe one bed was still left open. The wood stove is fantastic. For a big group, we had everything we needed in the common areas and there was more than enough room for us all to hangout together after getting off of the ski mountain. The place was spotless and smelled wonderfully clean and the host even had the wood stove packed for us so all we needed to upon arrival was light it. A small but very wonderful and thoughtful touch. The location is also perfect. 100/10 stars. Could not recommend more.

Wonderful home
We really enjoyed the White Wolf Haus! It was clean, easy check in and comfy beds. The stove fireplace, bathtub and bay window seating were our favs! Great location too! We hope to be back!

A trip for the memory book
Absolutely the best place to stay in Silverton- we will definitely be staying there again. Myself and my kids 11 & 13 enjoyed the wood burning stove, the walking distance to the train depot and Main Street. Check in and check out were very simple. Thank you for everything!

Great weekend away
We had a great weekend at the White Wolf Haus. We brought our parents who are visiting, our 4 month old baby, and our old dog. The house is clean and cozy and easy walking distance to all the restaurants and shops in town. We could have easily fit another whole family in there with us. We would definitely rent this place again!

This was a deal - Very pleased
House looked small but seemed large. Rustic appeal with a nice modern kitchen. Everything we needed for several days in a great location - walk to everything in town. Great views from windows. Comfortable! Owner was very responsive. Things changed and he went out of his way to accommodate.

Large open area, kitchen and living. The washer and dryer, perfect for not over packing. We did not cook but you would have everything. The tub. Deep and appears endless hot water. Also, plenty of large towels. My fav. We only used one of the four bedrooms. Last, the hooks and shelves allowed you to hang up and store everything. I could not use them all. Thank you. Respects. One comment. The sofas are lovely to look at but not for sitting on. You sit and can not get up as your bottom is lower than your knees. It left very little comfortable sitting. Maybe changing those.

Andrew's place was cozy and full of charm. I loved the personal touches and loved reading about the work he put in to make the White Wolf Haus a home. While we didn't need to use much and stayed for 2 nights, there are plenty of amenities provided in the rental for your convenience. I would definitely recommend for both short and long stays no matter the occasion!

Labor Day Weekend get away
The White Wolf Haus was a perfect get away. It was in a great location for getting to everything that we had planned. There was plenty of space for us (two adults). The kitchen is very nice and is updated. Laundry is great and there are plenty of bedrooms. Cute place. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location
My husband and two pups stayed for a full week. The house location is great, one block off Main Street. Plenty of parking for our 4 wheeler trailer and two vehicles. Lots of beds in the 4 bedrooms. We only used the main bedroom and the king bed was very comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed and there is a propane bbq. It was nice to have a washer and dryer in the house for our full week stay. I had one minor question during our stay and Andrew was quick to respond. We plan to come back next year! Loved this house and as always, love Silverton

Sweet Life
The week was great with getting away from heat, humidity and rat race. Sitting on porch enjoying the slow Silverton lifestyle was like adding years to one's life. The short walk into town (1 block) was easy and enjoyable even for us seniors. As for the house, the house met expectations as published, but did find the house not so clean and furniture well used. Especially the sofas and down stairs queen mattress. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils and the gas grill worked great. Just to let folks know, this house and most houses in Silverton do not have AC. This was not a real problem even though it did get to 80 degrees F during our stay, but cooled rather quickly once sun set. Overall we enjoyed the house and the Silverton experience and would do it again. Would even stay at White Wolf Haus again!

thank you for the review. This is the first I’ve heard of the house not being clean enough so I will ask the housekeeper about that. The high end leather couches have a weathered look as that is intentional and how they were when they were new. All mattresses in the house are fairly new but are on the firm side as that is my personal preference. They all have latex mattress toppers to soften them up some. Night time summer lows are ususally in the 40s in silverton so if it’s a warm day guests can always close the windows to keep the cool air in.

Great little house in a fantastic town.
If you're into getting an Uber to Buffalo Wild Wings then this isn't for you. Silverton is essentially a small, fairly isolated, 19th Century town, much of which is original. There are a few fantastic breweries, restaurants and diners to unwind in after a day hiking, skiing or driving the old mining trails (depending on what time of year). Its real selling point is the sense of absolute tranquility and the opportunity to spend time in a place that is focused on its surrounding environment, its history and the people who live there. You somehow feel immune to much of the nonsense occupying normal days elsewhere in the world. White Wolf Haus is the perfect rental in the heart of town to act as a forward base for whatever it is you've come to do in Silverton and the surrounding area. It does only have one bathroom, though, so if you're going with lots of people you'll want to know them all well!

White Wolf Haus is great
This is our third time staying at the White Wolf Haus and we made some more great memories. It holds a group comfortably with the nice kitchen island to sit around while cooking and the comfortable living room to hang out in. The sunny porch is perfect after skiing. We’ll return!
